Not sure on what sideways trades to do, cash not an issue.

Potential trade outs - Blakely, Salem, Cripps, Neale, Rockliff, Jelly when back?

Potential trade ins - Crisp, Merrett, Houli? Hurn? MCrouch?

Can't really see any other obvious problems

I need somewhat of a wildcard for my finals match up. Have 730k for a midfielder. I need someone with a big ceiling. Thinking of Rocky against Swans at AO? Team is below, Ziebell would be the out. Any help would be appreicated!

So out od the debutants, who are the best shots to play for the rest of the season?
Given the injuries to Birchall, Scrimshaw and Impey, I reckon Jiath is a good chance to play the last few games.

I'm in a world of hurt in a cash league elimination final this week.

Me: Stewart, Blakely, Clark, Murphy, Worpel
VS
Opponent: Houli, Sicily, Laird, Rockliff, Curnow

But I'm not going to go down with out a fight. I need to chase players with CEILING this week, preferably on the cheap. One man on my list is Dan Houston coming off a 123 priced @512k - anyone have any other that stand out to them this week? Ideally I'd want to trade Blakely to someone who has some ceiling and look to move someone else on to Toby Greene

Hey lads!
I'm pretty shit, I'm a rookie at this so that doesnt help.
Brang in miller and curnow as pods past 2 weeks and injuries havent helped. Still got a rookie on field but I think priority is to get sic dog off the field!!

Contemplating dunkley to greene and sic to laird?
Or just hanrahan downgrade and sic to laird?
Any help appreciated.

Only got 60k in bank.

Yep if you don't have the cash to fix both then get rid of Sicspud and field McLean one more week.
Hold Dunkley, should be back to120+ this week with no Libba. I really want Greene too but just hope that he doesn't score big in freezing conditions and then Jelly back next week to hopefully steal his mid time.
So just Hanrahan downgrade to James Bell via Burgess DPP and Sicspud to Laird looks good.
Hopefully you have enough cash next week to upgrade McLean..
Your M5-8 have big ceilings but are too inconsistent, but you can't worry about that now with Sicspud and McLean still on field. Hopefully you manage to get a couple of big scores from those last few mid spots because I reckon you may be forced to carry them for the rest of the year.

I could do Crisp / Smith, but that would mean using my 2 trades. I was planning on using the other trade on ROB > Gawn /Greene (dpp), but will wait til Thursday teams. So it’s a toss up between who scores more between the two defender combos I’ve listed above.

Really good insight to all those players listed. But the weather is heavily playing into my reasoning, given the cold snap coming through (ie less marks, more stoppages). My thinking is the following:

Smith - Agree with that assessment, but just hesitant given we’re up against WCE. Believe they’ll destroy us in the centre.

Stewart - His high scores are dependent on getting 5/6+ marks. Given the weather, don’t see that happening this werkend. Further, he doesn’t seem to like a hug.

Clarke - quite consistent, disposal/mark wise. But with the rain, leads me to believe he’ll have a lots of hugs.

Crisp - Had same concerns as Stewart, but if Crisp is running through the centre as you say, he’ll do just fine in the wet. .

Williams - No rain forecast in Sydney. He average 100+ playing UNSW this year playing down back. So with Kelly coming back, won’t be as concerned, but would rate Crisp over Williams.

So in short: Crisp > Williams > BSmith > Clarke > Stewart.

Trades are now: Rob/Clarke > Greene/BSmith.

So I’m banking on Greene scoring more than Gawn (might be tough with the Preuss omission). Really wanted to trade Stewart, but can’t trust Clarke with both Hanners/Stevens back. !

With the Selwood/Preuss omissions, really helping my opponent with Duncan/Gawn.

Team announcements could not have been worse for me this week. Don’t know whether to laugh, cry or Yolo Stewart > Williams!

Gaff or Taranto?

Gaff feels a bit more consistent, but Taranto looks to have the bigger ceiling
Taranto, he goes big the week after a poor score. Gaff is boring, not what you want to bring in with 3 weeks to go. I'd rather chase guys with ceiling.

Who to trade out:
Witts
Murphy
Cripps
Blakely

Williams is the best Def I can get with Blakely ($7k short of Crisp).

Do I just go Witts to Gawn?

I think Sicily might get back to 'normal' this week with Birch out

Yeah I had that thought too. Not sure if it dulls the rage much though, but might be better to go sloane out for me but the opportunity to get Sicily out of the team does seem pretty appealing.

Edit: nope Sicily to crisp done. Honestly wouldn’t care if Sicily went 150. 151 I would though
