Club, so failed this year at resting the older players before they got beaten up, so many playing all year with niggles ... it was clear against Hawthorn that Cotchin needed a week off. This was the game we needed to win, not Melbourne ffs and Grimes has clearly been carrying more than a niggle for the last three weeks.

Now it's a must win and we have to rest, said it earlier, the match committee making it hard to not feel like they are auditioning for amateur hour.

Clearly got the preseason wrong and the injury and load management couldn’t keep up.

Still ****ed off with Gibcus, you do less rehab with an ACL

One of the few games where I actually prefer all 3 tall defs, with the Dogs having Lobb, Jamara and Naughton. Usually leaves Broad free to take Bont if he drifts forward.

If he is a late out, would need to trust a Vlastuin or Short or Banks to take Bont if he goes fwd
I could see Vlastuin taking Lobb/Jamara, leaving Broad for Weightman. But we tend to play team defence so the matchups are a bit fluid. Maybe with two rucks nank pushes back hard to help out the defence

Shorty back to CHF where he belongs drilling goals off half a step outside 50

Going on Dylans form last week, it might actually be a good thing. Still not fully over him handballing it out of bounds with the umpire right there LMAO
That play was nuts - I thought he was having a stroke!

Nothing surer We will be absolutely reamed by umpires tonight the darlings of the afl throwdogs will reap the benefits of an armchair ride to a victory how many frees will they get that results in goals
100%.
I will be counting how many goals the Bulldogs get directly from free kicks or a chain of possessions caused by a free kick.

Would give us a lot more run and ball movement from the back half, an aspect that has really fallen off recently

Mitch clearly not watching us play this year if he thinks this is a big out

Yep, thats why they don't know everything like some posters like to think, we needed more faith in the kids and to bring them up for finals.
