To be fair, Cumbo has had a dirty night with his goalkicking. People whinged about playing Mansell ahead of him, but at least Mansell converts his chances more often than not. Cumbo was reliable last year. Not sure what's changed this year... but he is wasteful. And it hurts us.

Getting reamed from umps but it's clear we are pretty cooked. In hindsight we had 5 good draft picks in 2021, had we taken are 3 picks last year (given to gws) and 1 this year, that's 9 top 30 picks in 3 years and we would be building again from next year.

Now we are chasing our tails, chasing draft picks by maybe an older player going elsewhere like a soldo or HRS, but we don't have good picks until after 2024 season. 2024 and 2025 drafts seem age's away!

Spot on and who gets dropped Banks lol been our issue last 2 seasons living in the past.

This passage is exactly why we lose centre clearances in most weeks. We do some dumb crap that eventually results in HTB. When the opposition gets the ball, they actually kick the ball forward to get the centre clearance.

We won the first possession after the centre bounce twice just then and failed to get a single clearance.

the cleanliness with the ball and setting up around a contest is chalk and cheese. if one of our mids gets it at a contest they look up, see no one and hack it or just handlball to the nearest bloke who's invariably followed them in to the ball and is immediately under pressure. Dogs mids get it they have blokes always set up behind the ball to receive and away they go. We need to run the broom through every line coach on our books.
