I drink Whisky neat (even Octomore), but re: blends, it depends. I find Johnnie Black fine if I want a cocktail or mixer, e.g. for Old Fashioneds, Scotch & Dry.

I also tried a Glenmorangie Signet recently (a blend), and although I don't normally like the taste of chocolate or coffee (uncontroversial I'm sure), it was delicious. Pricey though.

Speaking of Signets, or Cygnets, to stay remotely on topic, how good are some of our youngsters. Gulden, Rowy playing key roles in our win vs the Giants, and maybe eternally optimistic, I'm hoping Stephens gets a full gig this week.
