Sadly we didn't have cohorts of players switched on at the same time, but different players stood up at the right times. Le Coq in the first was supreme. Big O was a warrior early on. And in the final moments Bailey and McCarthy were supreme. McStay was great all game until that shocking kick.
I'm glad Adams was in and had a solid game. I hope this is a blip for Gardiner, as Him Adams and Andrews all up together will be grand.
Special mention to Prior. I thought he was really solid for the whole game.

Pardon the intrusion, but well done Lions. For a few minutes I had the weird sensation of going for the other team, or wanting them to score anyway (still hoped we'd win but when that wasn't possible anymore).
I don't have a voice, but WOW we have HEART!!!!!

Well done guys. Mcluggage kicked you into a prelim after he kicked the winner against my team last year and he may have kicked you into another tonight! What an epic win. His clutch goal late and Mccarthy's point which just snuck in has got you into the top 4. Amazing effort and well deserved! All the best in finals
