Not totally unrealistic that we could make it with 12 wins. Would be a pretty lame way to do it though.
On my reckoning it would take Swans to beat the Crows and the Dogs to beat the Cats, and the winner of Ess v GWS to lose in the last round. Ess v Pies and GWS v Blues so that part is likely.
NikNat and Paddy Mac...Paddy Mac retires, sad to see.
Both of the Cats games are must wins where as we just need to won one of the last two, this one is the most winnable of the two games. If Stanley misses that is a massive loss for them as he often beats Marshall.
You'd think they'll bring in Hawkins as it's a must-win game for them.
It will be a huge challenge but I believe we can do it. Can't wait.
NikNat and Paddy Mac...
My legacy to big footy was passing on the mattress guts slurs from the VFL. Looks like it’s finally reached its end date.
Cam Guthrie is a jet, but zach is a potato.Midfield will be the big concern again, although I'm not too fussed if they bring Zuthrie straight back in as surely he'll be a bit underdone.
Not looking forward to Battle on Hawk, which seems to be the only option.
One thing that was very noticeable yesterday was the way we used the wings at Marvel, hopefully we keep up that spread, it gave us a lot of easy looks inside f50.
I think we'll go in unchanged. As a left field idea, I wouldn't hate the idea of using Coops as a tag on Stewart (literally the whole time) and bringing Hammer in to give 3 x tall options (with Membrey playing very high / a bit of wing, I thought his disposal was better). That would involve dropping a small, and I wouldn't mind Gresh going out since he usually provides little chase & pressure but he (Gresh) did play a good game on the weekend.
Probably not till trac retires or maybe dies. But thank you, we appreciate you.My legacy to big footy was passing on the mattress guts slurs from the VFL. Looks like it’s finally reached its end date.

I'm sure we could make Menegola look like Bontempelli again if we tried hard enough, hasn't played a game this year but will no doubt come in get 30 and 2 snags.
Same with that Kylo Ren looking campaigner Jack Henry, he looks like peak SOS whenever we play the cats.
I hope we go with the same plan for Stewart as we did Sicily, Sharman pretty safe this week you'd think.

Do you work in finance...something to do with either mortgage rates, or superannuation funds? It's going to be tough to snag one of these last 2, but exciting to be in the mix.
I have done some basic probability analysis. Results are as follows:
1: Probability of losing both and making it (10%)
2: Probability of beating Cats (35%)
3: Probability of beating Lions (15%)
Throw all that in the blender and we are 50.27% chance of making finals.
Can you tell who is bored at work today?
Pretty desperate times for the Cats as they have to win both to be any chance. I wouldn't put it past them to unleash this freaky looking unit for one last roll of the dice, he's only 54.Got my Guthrie's confused. Cam is the one I meant. Hasn't played seniors since R6 injury and wasn't in their VFL side on the weekend so you'd think he's a definite out this week.
We've played all season dragging the ball around the outside and in the last 2 weeks we have been more adventurous. Going up the middle and much more direct. Perhaps Ross has been foxing until finals?
Ha ha, yes I do. Financial planner by trade. Love this stuff.Do you work in finance...something to do with either mortgage rates, or superannuation funds?
Makes such a difference when they are prepared to take on the corridor. We've played all season dragging the ball around the outside and in the last 2 weeks we have been more adventurous. Going up the middle and much more direct. Perhaps Ross has been foxing until finals?

Pretty sure Henry is still out with his foot, lisfranc thing from the Port game I think I read, this was the thing before the Pies game with Blicavs running and Hawkins apparently running but failed the test for that week.
They usually train Wednesdays so should give an indication of who is likely to do things for those who want to check out ze opposition.
After ze Google, yeah Henry lifransc injury, not going to play by all accounts.
So that's what, 2 weeks for Hawkins for hammie (low grade) and 2 weeks thus far for Blicavs hammie (high grade), Henry out with the foot, Guthrie "maybe the sub, I dunno" with his toe surgery from rnd6, Rohan subbed last week with the hip/groin complaint after his ankle earlier and Rhys with the groin complaint in the same game v Pies.
Walking wounded going into this week, and they'll be light on if they need to take a backman out like Rat or Neale to ruck if Stanley misses, and Cam just won't have match fitness if he's selected, so we should match well v the Cats if we bring what we did v Tigers and have a similar sort of match if they have to sub some people and shuffle, as not ideal for them at all.
