to be fair, a couple of the ones in my question were more u and under than actual hit kicks. Probably scored as a net positive as it wasn't directly turned over

... he'd be run wide of the pack avoiding all physical contact... and then when he does win the ball he won't do much with it because he has to get over the surprise that the ball ended up in his hands.

Heavy tagging of Merrett means they're off the hook, while Durham and Caldwell play on an opponent.

However, Merrett not having much time or space could be a good reason we're not winning by much.

Really? We need speed & at the very least he offers that.

Great effort to half time against the top team. Sydney are always a low scoring team and the super flood tonight has kept it tight.

From here, Sydney has to be the favourite. They have enough class in the midfield that they will have a period of dominance. If forward-line efficiency continues as is, and it is hard to see that changing, we'll be chasing 4 or 5 goal lead in last 10 min.

I'd keep persisting with him, but I do not expect him impacting the AFL for another 2 preseason. He needs to come out next year bigger, stronger and braver to at least become a quality VFL player... then we can think about AFL.

We are dominating possession so it's ti be expected to an extent. 8 Swans haven't laid one which I don't think Horse would appreciate
