I don't mind Merrett up forward too much (if our defence is standing up without him), he gives us another marking target, and isn't too much of a liability going the other way cause he's pretty fast for his size.

It's a bit of a scrap at the moment. We have a lot of possession but we aren't getting it forward at all. Lucky Freo are butchering it into their forward line. Our clearances have been better than expected.

don't mind us slowing the tempo and keeping the ball, but we must be smart using it. Coming out of defence under pressure we are turning it over too much.

Ive liked our patience and forward press. We just need to continue playing well in defence which we have been doing a great job of. Drummond is playing great. Redden, Rich and Maguire also playing well.
