I checked the breakevens - GAJ's is 48 and T Mitchell's is 40. If they hit their averages this weekend, the former will increase by about $22k and the latter by about $32k.

I am downgrading Rocky to Hunter or Zaha and am getting Parish.

Titch is on my radar in the next month, whenever it seems appros to get him. I'd love to grab him this week, but in the grand scheme of things, I have to do the other two trades.

It's so hard splitting them. I really want to pick Zaha but leaning towards Hunter because:

1. Dogs beast at Etihad, more Dogs the better right?
2. Dogs play a good DT style game. Hawks this week is not ideal, but they are not playing a particularly contested brand of footy by all reports. Then have Carlton and Brisbane the following weeks, then Adel and Roos, followed by Melb at the G.
3. I want to get Zerrett in pretty quickly (probably for Barlow) and if I have Zaha aswell that will be 5 Bombers players - doesn't seem like the ideal balance of players. What happens if Essendon start spudding quickly like we all thought before the season?

I don't like, however, how Hunter relies on a lot of marks for his points and doesn't tackle. Zaha is super fit, runs hard and enjoys a hug. May start attracting a run with player.

That's the best I can come up with so far in splitting the two. Very much line ball. Although I know which ever one I choose, it's gonna be the other I should have chosen lol.

I would lean towards Hunter given the choice, however having 5 Dons isn't an issue when 3 of them will be upgraded, or potentially one held on to for bench cover.

Are you looking at Hunter or Zaka as a keeper?

Good point about the upgrades/downgrades, but they will still be there for about a third of the season at least.

I don't see why either couldn't be a m6, 7 or 8 for the whole season. If not they will be easily be sideways'd into a fallen premo.

Same I was expecting good JS for paps, but a 50 average. Milera was exciting on the weekend though. Hope he is not a down hill skier.

I thought he had JS. His pre-season was good (not DT wise) but giving us forward pressure.

Like I said in a post, McGlynn would come in for a like for like. Towers/Cunningham/Robinson. And he did

So, I'm completely stuck on trades this week.

I've got critical issues with 3 players - Rockliff, Steele & Macaffer. I want to get Parish into my midfield as a downgrade. I also need to trade Rocky this week.

I'm thinking the best option this week is to trade Macaffer, instead of Steele, as if I traded Steele to Parish I'd be losing my mid/fwd link to do it. It's better for balance.

Macaffer > Parish.

That trade leaves me with a massive 13,400 left

This is where I need help. I've come up with 3 rookies in the midfield + rocky, so I want to replace Rocky with another premium midfielder. and I'd like to know which one you think is best.

Option 1

Rocky > T Mitchell

Leaves me with 2k

Option 2

Rocky > Ablett

Leaves me with 73k

- Probably my preferred option as I'm currently fielding 3 options in the midfield and I have a lack of premium midfielders having opted for midfielders in Viney and Hunter

Option 3

Rocky > Johannisen via Rosa into mids.

Leaves me with 173k

- Creates a potential future DEF - MID link for my team and frees up a lot of cash, meaning I have a link between FWD - MID, DEF - FWD & MID - DEF

Any thoughts? Definitely struggling a bit with this one. Any advice at all would be appreciated.

Those guys won't be cheap for much longer, I think JJ will be obtainable as an upgrade though, someone will tag him to a 50/60/70 one of these weeks and his price will stagnate
