Round 3 trades

I think it depends on whether someone is chasing winning the overall or based purely on leagues.

I play mainly for the league aspect (because I like money, rather then a .05% chance of winning a car) so I guess if that's your focus doing all you can to ensure having the most valuable team in terms of total $$$ worth is more important the early season points, even if you reduce your chances of winning each individual league game by a fraction by playing say, Zorko over Westhoff

At least that's my take.

Well you only have 2 trades, Westhoff, Dwyer and JJK are all set for price rises this week.

Make the call whether you think you are best with JJK and Westhoff (who are probably the better scorers) as you planned or whether you want to bank extra cash by taking Dwyer. Hard to say what Dwyers JS will be like with a fully fit Collingwood but if Westhoff goes up this week as expected one bad game will mean his BE will skyrockets after the 154 rolls out of his average.

Decided to go with the original plan with a look to go Westhoff => Bartel in two weeks when Westhoff has the 154 out of his average

Because Dwyer is starting from a base price I assume his price will rise steadily from 89 flattening in the 280 range in about 6 weeks so missing one week wont hurt. IMO if I don't get Westhoff this week obviously I shouldn't bother

Cheers for help

B/E's are calculated with 3 games, therefore the 154 will stay for another two. If i get westhoff, i will be shipping him out after the GC game in 2 weeks, and hopefully he will be a straight swap or close to SJ or Thomas, or if zorko starts playing middle, you could downgrade hoff (hopefully) to zorko.
I will not be keeping hoff for the season that is for sure.

I have gone:

Daw -> Dwyer (move Rowe to RUC)
Ryder -> JJK

I have decided to hold Zorko. Karney not playing helped me as he wont go down in price. I will upgrade him to a premo FWD next week with the $360k cash I have in the bank.

Thats what I mean, Westhoff is a 2 week money maker unless he has another huge game. Dwyer could be a 1 week earner or a 4 week earner. But you get 180k to spend next week with Dwyer

That's it, done, keeping hartlett this week, see how he performs

Crouch to pittard (goodes in the middle)
zorko to hoff

then next week will get crouch back (just don't want to start him as i am fearful of the vest, would rather start goodes and pittard and stevenson than goodes pittard and crouch)
probably to kommer to crouch next week

hopefully wines is not sub this week

Crouch won't get the vest, but good luck to you. Interesting trades.

Hartlett -> Waters
or
Macaffer -> Dwyer?

Bear in mind I have 290k in the bank already, and have Patton/Neade/Macaffer as F6/7/8.

Macaffer -> Dwyer easily. What's the point in sideways trading Hartlett to Waters?

It wont go up there forward line much.

LOL. It'll go to Byrnes more than it goes to a guy who isn't even playing :oops:

Seems like you are wasting trades to me. I know we get 44 but trading out Crouch with the aim to get him back next week seems silly in my opinion.

I don't know your team but I would think that their are better trading options for you.

However you seem like you are reasonably experienced so if you have thought about it and this is the best for your team progression, go ahead and try it.

Playing Melbourne, will probably rack up Heppell-esque numbers. The four weeks after that are Carlton, Port, Bulldogs and Brisbane, hardly a tough schedule

Not sure what to do:

Kommer > Viney - Will fix my rookie selections.

Robbo > ??? - Not sure who to trade in? But i want Robbo out, don't like his upcoming games and price drop.

Current FWD line: JJK, Bartel, Rocky, Zorko, Robbo, Dwyer, Neade, Macaffer

There was something wrong with Waters last week, he looked sort of disinterested/injured/sick. It's not a trait of Waters to look disinterested, like, ever. Hopefully an anomaly, but when you have other trade options it seems a little risky.
