The Reef and Frampton inclusions worked, so at least that’s a step in right direction. Shame we didn’t line up that way versus GWS and Swans.

Noble in for Markov seems justified, as does making Lipinski sub and - finally - giving Macrae some full games to properly demonstrate what he has to offer.

Beyond that, no changes. We need experienced players against the Lions at the Gabba.

Lipinski has been one of our better players the past three weeks.

Maybe Fly can stop picking McCreery. How does a non-KP player get away with playing 63 games averaging only 9 disposals a game.
There is a thing called the Gavin Brown Award. Beau has won it the last two years. This might be a clue for you to look beyond disposals to see how he is valued.

In Noble for Markov seems the obvious on.
Big questions for me are on the following players.
Howe - I have previously wanted him to stay back but he is well down at the moment, is he worth trying forward for a whole game.
Crisp - Just so many errors in close. Try him on a wing this week.
Mitchell - Think we have to put Macrae ahead of him for the next month at least
Sidey - Surely has this week off. Right now I wish he had of gone out on a high last year.
WHE -Does he come back this week , he normally does.
Both GWS and Carlton were 4 wins from 13 last year and got close to GF , so not giving up on finals yet but think we need to win at least 2 of the next 3 to get something going.

I love Sidey but I think last night was the most frustrating effort I have seen from him, I would hate to see him in the Magoos but maybe he might need it to get some touch back in his game. I don’t think he’s cooked,

In: Macrae ( Starts), WHE, Sullivan (Depending on VFL form )

Out: Mitchell (Possible Sub), Sidey (Possible Sub/Managed), Markov

Move Naicos to HB, WHE onto a wing, and Macrae and Sullivan into the midfield mix, with the possibility of playing DeGoey more forward.
Cox to be given one more opportunity, considering the Brisbane ruck combo they can use with McInerney and Daniher....

Geez people get super negative super quick. We should be celebrating these guys, the champs who gave us so much over the past couple of years. Stick fat, stay supportive.

Noble in over Markov, not sold on Fin, but he does deserve a full game. I'd like to see Naicos play high half forward with license to roam and Bytel or Sullivan come in as an extra mid. Missing inside grunt.

I think we all love what the club achieved last year. Right now everyone is in shock at the way we're playing and losing games.
If you were new to the game, and you watched us play the last few weeks, you would think this must be one of the struggling teams in the competition. If you told them, no, this team were the champions last year, l think they would be shocked too....
I still think we can turn it around, but last night showed it's going to take alot of work for that to happen....
But being 0-3, as a reigning premier isn't as bad as being 0-3 and continually down the bottom of the ladder, season after season....🏆🏆

I'd like to see Bytel and Sullivan play outstanding games at VFL level before even considering them for selection.

Out: Markov and Mitchell
In: Noble and Dean

Dean comes in to release Howe to go forward to play on Harris Andrews if he doesn’t it will be very ugly, probably still will but there’s no chance without a defensive forward on Andrews.

Finn to start.
Yes.

We wont beat Brisbane. We don't even look close to it.

I’m expecting we play above ourselves just because we’ve been so unabashedly awful, and manage to eek out a respectable if not honourable loss.

We need to start rotating Beau & JDG through the center square.

We need Nick & Noble back to half back. I don’t get the rush to make Nick a full time midfielder. He almost won the Brownlow from half back.

I also think our current forward structure is a bit crap. 1 forward 50 tackle when we have 4 small forwards is just poor. Also indicates that we are not at the drop of the ball, which is why defences are able to transition the ball out of our forward line so easily.

Need more runners…and I don’t say that lightly …runners with intent.

We need to transition some of the older bodies who have served us well.

Macrae has to start
Sullivan is ready made.
Harrison should be playing too.
Cox at 33…I mean surely Begg or Steene can’t be producing anything worse and 10 years younger.

We need to make some brutal calls on some veterans and make a statement.

Both Macrae and Mitchell have to play a full game together as our main extractors. Shift Naicos back to HB and use both him and Crisp to generate run on the outside. Noble also needs to come in to help with this.

Flood the backline and just counterpunch until we build some form. Hopefully we can pull off a 2022 on the road season revival like we did against Freo... (I wish haha)
