West does so much great work in the contest all game, exactly what we were missing in our 1st 2 seasons, she's great for us. Gives us momentum winning the hard balls, Stephenson took a mark 40m out but failed to make the distance

3/4 Time
StK - 2.5 - 17
Haw - 5.7 - 37

Wales kicks it long into the goalsquare and Bodey marks behind the pack and kicks her 6th

StK 17-74 Haw -- Final Score at RSEA Park

Bodey getting the freedom of playing wing in spurts in the 1st half inspired this run of goals commentators are saying, maybe there's something to it?

Jasmine Fleming having a huge run and potentially a great running goal, but the siren went as she crossed the 50m line and denied her...

Fox desperately wanted to get to men’s Prelim dribble
Left the women’s game right on the final siren……..poor form
They cut off as soon as siren sounded so we could get 80 minutes of preview! Ridiculous. Worst thing about the whole game, thanks Fox.

That outta the way, how good are our Hawk girls? Beating Saints is legit, we have to consider ourselves a finals standard team now. Next 7 games is about working out how to keep developing, raising standards and making sure we can turn it up when it counts. Can't get complacent. 7 wins is magic number imo, target now has to be getting a finals win, not just happy to be there.

Wales BOG? She was definitely the best at HT, game was all one way after. Will be close with how Bodey and Gilroy played. Jas is becoming more and more the player we hoped she'd be. Her development has been fun to track, excited to see what is next. Possible Bates least noticeable game of the season...still got 17 disposals and was always around. Just so much class.

I don't think Eardley is at 100% yet, seems to be managed minutes and experimenting with her up forward was a bold call. I don't know how the mosquito fleet that is the rest of the backline does it, but they are standing up well against much taller opponents. Smith and TLR shouldn't work but credit to them and the coaches because it's very effective. Richo has to be in AA form.

Mack forward is an interesting one. Not personally a fan and at the game, you can tell she's a defender (and someone who will be up there with the best in the competition at that). How we manage the next 2 weeks with another 3 games will be interesting
