Official Match Thread Round 4 - Bombers Vs. Swamprats @ Windy Hill

Vs.

With no wins on the board the Bombers are a team with nothing to lose. Two narrow losses, followed by another loss last week to the Furies have left the Bombers winless and looking for answers. But if any club was going to come out breathing fire this week, it will be the Bombers. The red and black army are at home and the players will be desperate to put the disappointment of the first 3 rounds behind them.

This will make it interesting for their opponents, the Swamprats. In cruise control after the first two rounds, they had a major reality check last week against an impressive Demons side. Can the Swampies turn it around and show last week was a minor blip or will the Bombers be able to shut the Swampies down and send them tumbling down the ladder?

An interesting match coming up.

Two Debutants for Swamprats
The Swamprats have made two unforced changes to the side to face the Bombers this week.

Former All BigFooty team member dreamkillers comes out of the side, as does rookie defender Lightning Rod. In their place come two untried youngsters in forward pocket Rory and utility nivek482005.

"Both players have deserved a chance to show us what they have. We were poor in the forward line last week so we have made a couple of changes to see if we can perform better in that area. Dreamkillers is probably a bit unlucky but it will show the group that noone is untouchable."

The Swamprats have a winning record against the Bombers and will be looking at getting back on the winners list this week. Ruckmen Crazy Big Al has been moved to Full Forward in a move that has come off before. Sog35 gets another chance in the ruck.
