'magic touch' as in opposite to a jinx. Yeh, ha ha. Still their stats belie what they both did. Tho I have to say I had hopes for Davies when he hit a red ball ton at 17 for Manly firsts. Then nothing from him until he clouted the first 200 in the U19 nationals. Unlike others at the time who went into Shield virtually off the back of national white ball, his coaches chose the short formats and two day club cricket. Seems to have paid off. What a pity the same scenario was not provided for Jason Sangha.

Won the Blues the match, that and Davies ton. How sweet it is for us poor suffering fans, first win since Feb '22. Has jumped us a couple of places on the ladder too. Will this now kick start a good Blues season.
