Do u reckon Dawes is gonna keep scoring the way he is?

Probably not - but he's still going to get you scores in the 80's & 90's on a regular basis, with the odd ton thrown in. He will also have a few ordinary days when he might stink it up a bit with a 50 odd score. That seems to be the typical pattern for a power forward - Riewoldt, Goodes, Browny, and so on.

At an asking price of $320K - not bad value (anything over 80 on a regular basis would put you in front). And with the way the Pies are playing, he's sure to have the pill around him often enough to get that sort of score, most weeks.

Duffield has been disappointing as has Deledio, i'm thinking...

Duffield/Deledio --------> Suban/Adcock


and then Bewick --------> Curanow

I'd be hesitate to do either. Deledio will come good and duffield should improve once the fremantle backline gets its balance back through returning injured players.

Bewick's a cash cow who's price should rise a bit more before you let him go. Trading him for a slightly better (ok, GREAT) cow is a bit counter-productive. If you want curnow desperately, sub deledio into your mid and trade him for curnow.

I'd hold on to both for this round, but thats just me.

I made the mistake of picking Jack Stanley instead of Danny Stanley at the start of the year (didnt realise there was 2 of them till after round 1 lockout).

So i need to decide which player to replace him with.

Ones im thinking of are Mckernan, Smith, Coad, D Stanley, Tarrant, Pederson(if selected).

A week earlier you could have also considered O'Brien & Duigan.

I think you can safely assume that if Aaron Joseph is NOT playing, then Carrazzo will get tagging time. Obviously it depends on the opposition though.

Using FFGenie, Prestia is set for a $50k price rise if he averages what he has in the first 2 rounds, and regardless he's going to go up a fair bit with a B/E of -62.

Conca has been disappointing and this trade would free up $22k as well as add DPP possibilities, and also Prestia's price will rise much quicker than Conca's.

used 2 trades last week to get in curnow/tapscott is it worth me getting prestia in this week for an under preforming rookies???

...have 300k in bank
mid bench (Bewick, Hibberd, Irons) and forward bench (Matera, Richo, Darling)

My only DPP mid/forward is goodes/krak is it worth trading matera for prestia to get the nice cash cow and the DPP???

or other option is to upgrade to stay in the hunt with the leaders....say krak to watson or something???

Same here. I think alot of people are getting a bit carried away with having a few extra trades up their sleaves. Come later in the season there will be alot of people regretting their over enthusiasm early on.

gonna have to pull conca out for savage. should've pulled him out last week for curnow. bad error that one.

conca is killing me and i can't see him improving for a while yet.

that will save me 5k this week will give me just enough to menouver from toy to coad after this week if coad pulls out another big score.

i could do the toy > coad trade this week but might as well have another look and see what coad scores.

a bit of rookie sideways trading but i can handle that.

then after round 5 or 6 it will be time to begin the mid price to premium upgrading

I think Prestia will average the same as Krak (possibly a bit more consistently) and possibly play more than Krak. Watson looks excellent this year in a good side while Boak looks OK in an average side. I believe Watson will average 110 while Boak may get 90ish.

Gonna wait to get Adcock in, but depends on how my other players perform (Got Grimes, Lids, Enright, Goddard, Heppell, Lower, Gibbs) don't know if I really wanna downgrade any of my premiums, if I did it'd be Deledio but we'll leave that as an issue for next week.

Brisbane have a bye this week, so I wouldn't be getting Adcock unless you can back him up. I'm also thinking about getting Adcock.

Thoughts on wtf to do with Bruce? I think it's pretty clear it was a bad pick but the question is how bad? He started as a sub last week but managed 40 odd in a qtr and a bit..not too bad.

My worries are, his role and how often he'll be a sub during the year. The Hawks board have him as a potential out this week or at least a sub throughout the year which will be frustrating as sh*t for someone who cost as much as he did. Do i cut him loose before he loses too much value? Keep in mind he has a bye in 2 weeks so if i get rid of him, it would be preferable to do it now to fully benefit out of the trade.

Would appreciate any feedback cos i'm at my wits end.

Changing clubs so uncertain on role and nearly 32. Bad pick IMO. I'd get rid of him ASAP for a true keeper but it's up to you.

Nah completely agree. I fell for the trap of trying to be unique and get a prem that everyone was avoiding to have an edge which has cost me big time.

The problem is the only teams that have had their byes are GC, North and Adelaide which doesn't leave me any real advantage with regard to avoiding byes.

The Astbury trade sounds like a good one (I'm considering it myself), as does Petterd to Prestia. Actually, they all look rather good, except Carrots has a history of averaging 85+ so out of those three I'd look at getting rid of him last. At least Adcock's price won't increase after this week's games.
