After a stirring win against the undefeated Swans we front up against the Saints this week for Gather Round in SA. While we would have been feeling like we're a chance against the Saints, the news today that both Lynch and Balta are out, with Baker likely to join them due to suspension and a possibility that Martin may also miss another week with the calf issue we're certainly going to have our work cut out for us against the Saints, who will be looking to bounce back after letting the game against the Bombers slip. On the flip side the boys will have a bit of confidence coming from the breakthrough win yesterday and will believe that they can possibly pinch the win against the Saints.
Unfortunately the injury crisis has continued at Richmond this week with Lynch (hamstring tendon) & Balta (MCL sprain) will both join the likes of Gibcus Hopper Trezise & Prestia in missing at least the next month if no longer, while we're no certainty to get Martin back if the calf is still giving him concerns given Yze has said he won't be risked given how important he is to us and Judson Clarke will also be unavailable due to a calf injury he suffered late last week. Add to that the possible suspension of Baker and there will be at least another 3 changes coming this week which continues the trend of having multiple changes each week.
In terms of who comes in, well you'd hope that McAuliffe gets the nod after an impressive start to the VFL season, while it's likely to be Ryan and Koschitzke returning to the side to fill the key forward roles, and while those inclusions might not impress everyone, crisis creates opportunity and both will now have the chance to show something much like a few of the other kids have been able to once given their chance.
Even the most one eyed Tiger will struggle to pick us to win the game on Sunday, but as we saw yesterday strange things happen in games.

That side would contain 12 players under 50 games so gives a good opportunity for the kids to lay claim to a spot in the side moving forward.
Prediction: Unfortunately I just can't see us getting the win, but I don't think it will be a blow out either, with the margin likely to be 3-4 goals.
