I wouldn't complain too much about the match day thread atmosphere, it is the environment that has been created here.

Posters try to be positive, get shouted down with countless sack Hinkley replies and think Why bother.

I'm looking forward to the game, there's a lot to like about this Port team, that midfield is so deep and talented it can take on any team, tall defenders at last, and a good mix of talent up forward. Plus Soldo who is fun to watch in the ruck.

This should be a quality game after the dross of the past two nights, perfect conditions and two teams in strong form.

I expect Drew to put the clamps on Serong and the rest of our midfield to go to work.

I guess it comes down to the maturity of this group and how they'll handle business after the dumpster fire this week has created for the club.

I'm hoping for a decent win but would not be surprised if we're rattled and stink it up. Another big test for the leadership group.

I was having the same thoughts Re Soldo he’s not top tier but he’s a vast improvement on Lycett (especially late last year) but he’s got mongrel in him loves a bit of physicality and I think has hit the scoreboard every game so far?

Richmond fans said we would love him and I can see why even his half cut family last week giving Richmond a spray on roaming Bryan while not classy was fun

First home game I've missed since the birth of my older boy 5 seasons ago. Got covid, and even though to be honest I still would've gone, I have no babysitters for my 2 boys and the wife is away for work.

He's just gotta kick straight. His kicking so far this year has been good, but under the pressure of the big stage, it was mediocre again. He's gotta get it flowing and get believing. That's the most important thing for him at the moment. The ground ball, the improved physicality will come with time, if he takes his chances when he gets them.

If Dixon gets blanketed by a 3 game josh draper given Pearce would want to sag off marshall for intercepts i reckon thats curtains or charles. Draper is a good defender but these are the types of players charlie should feast on. Of course Daddy Kenny would never drop him if it were to happen
