That experience will do us a lot of good going forward. Collingwood are much more used to finals-like games like that. Just butchered far too many opportunities moving forward. Including shots at goal in the last quarter.

Gave it away imo, probably not many will agree but we butchered it even when in space. We look like a momentum side and fluffing several chances in the first half set the tone

Looked flat and slow frequently, not ideal for the turnaround into Carlton who havent played since Thursday

In the end pretty much what I expected, they're much older and more experienced as a unit. Our makeshift forwardline was always going to be up against it.

I'm just glad we turned up, put in the effort and were able to match it with another top team.

A good test and a lesson for these kids, should be better for it and hopefully come out firing next week.
