Gresh absolutely checked out from that one after he didn’t get the handball from Caminiti for the goal.

Marshall good game on the stat sheet but Frampton clearly won the ruck battle.

Skills atrocious, score line flattered us but 4-1 so not bad overall

None of the small forwards got much of a look and all were pretty frustrated. Collingwood is probably the best defence outside a full strength Melbourne. If King was there to take Moore it changes everything.

That's a game dropped, skills terrible, so many smothers, credit to Collingwood for that but also, it says we must be very ****ing easy to read/predictable. Just such crappy, obvious, bad decision making. Defence under the pump all night and really played pretty well all things considered. We missed some very gettable shots in the last and I know Byrnes worked hard and applied pressure, but some of his kicks just are not up to scratch, we should be looking to get a hard running, high work rate mid/wing to replace him in the next off season.

So many annoying things from an umpiring point of view Owens jumper being pulled away/held and no free several times, the Josh Daicos shovel/throw getting ignored again and again, Collingwood players dropping it and just throwing it out and being allowed to play on. But the umpiring stuff is just annoying, it's not the reason we lost. We lost from shitty skills, second guessing and fumbling and being susceptible to what we've done to other clubs; got panicky over perceived pressure when in most cases we had an extra half a second or second to make a better choice. Clark while it wasn't a perfect game from him kicking did have that composure and game awareness. So there are going to be a lot of lessons learned out of this.

Hopefully this week. Bring Membrey in, give Gresham some time in the VFL

That would be a terrible move. Membrey looked way off the pace. You'd be better to play Peris for the same role.

The fact we looked more dangerous at the centre bounce with Owens rather than Marshall and Cordy speaks volumes.
Needed a bit of mongrel going up against a backman and forward as the ruck. Instead we allowed them to dictate.

Hammer will be in strife for his hit.
Really disappointing that we didn't think to even try nullify Daicos. 42 touches off half back

Lessons need to be taken on this. We continued with the same plan all match. Needed composure from our leaders and we didn't get it.

Before saying we had so many out. The Pies themselves had some absolutely massive outs.

Hunter Clark's hands are elite in traffic. He moves like a glacier on the spread or chase but on the inside he's a freak.

Solid effort we just need to be more polished with the ball and our midfield needs to be a bit more consistent.

Gresham and Cordy out for me next week. Caminiti could be in trouble knowing our luck at the tribunal.
Only issue is for who?

Membrey was very much short of a gallop at Sandy, and we’d have to sweating on Steele’s fitness.

Our injury list might save them both.
