I’m on an 8 game losing streak of games I have attended since my birthday win on April 9 last year against Collingwood at Marvel and had front row viewing at Optus to last weeks present from Melbourne. Hope we put in an effort today and sorry to say I’ll be in the stands once again today

Tackle hard, get to the contests in numbers, try and be aggressive with the ball and fight it out to the end. It’s all I ask for, the result is irrelevant at this stage.

Looking forward to seeing Culley and Ginbey work on their game together. Think Yeo needs to provide some help in the middle today and Gaff to provide his new defensive mindset against Duncan. Rotham has the biggest test in footy atm to try and run with Cameron.

As others have said, just looking for promise from the youngsters today. If the kids stand up and we somehow keep the margin below 10 goals that would be massive.

If we can stay in the contest for at least the first half against another quality side and show commitment to the new game style I'll be happy enough. I'd be expecting an L here if we had our B22 on the park let alone the side we are having to mock up after the past fortnight of carnage.

Geelong have won only one game this year, against a side that weren't even really trying to win. Despite that, the game was close for a while.
