Round 5 trades

I don't mind the Lambert trade. I don't have any glaring issues so I'm moving Stef up to Goldy this week as well as downgrading Davis to a 125k rook in my M10 spot, so it wouldn't be a bad trade if you were to move Stef on.

Cause I have Tippett as R2, moving Martin I was thinking of let him fall in price then straight trade (or almost) a Gray/Sheridan/Lambert to him and move Tippett forward.

But its doing my head in. The trade leaves me with 110k as well for next week to do a downgrade/upgrade

I traded out lonergan over Sheridan. I think Sheridan scored 42 in the first half last week but couldn't go on with it. Hoping for a decent score at home vs the blues.

I was tempted to trade sheridan, but i have this feeling it could come back to bite me. He needs an 80+ this week to gaurantee a stay of execution

moving on clay cameron, sure he's gonna have to play as a tall defender given their lineup and the roos forward line. Have plenty of cash so prob gonna decide on either docherty, biggs or yeo as a replacement, am currently liking docherty

I am so stuck on my trades.

N. Graham > O. Fantasia is locked. Due to this trade, unless I trade a defender, I cant bring another defender in.

The next trade, I could trade out:
Sheridan > Wagner (But I think Sheridan deserves another week)
Lambert > Gawn/Yeo/Ross/Harvey (Lambert is a plodder but his BE is not unattainable)
S.Martin > Gawn (Martins huge BE and the concussion effect on players scoring immediately after)

I'd toss Lambert tbh, mainly cause I already have..

Im keeping the faith in Stef this week, especially because rucks have been down this year anyway

Reneged on my injury trade of Naitanui in for Martin so Stef is back.

Trades are Barlow -> Zerrett (C) - Been tossing up between Barlow and S. Gray all week, decided to back in Gray in the knowledge that he's got upcoming where he could go big against Brisbane and Carlton. Barlow has Adelaide, GWS and Hawthorn upcoming so less chance to point grab.

And Hartley -> Wagner - Hartley was a nice rookie buy but won't ever average as much as the kicker Wagner. I like Wagner's job security at the Dees as well.

Down back, yes: Weitering, Dea, Adams, Laird, Shaw, Ruggles, Byrne, Cameron. With the erratic scores from the premiums in that line, it seems like a fair strategy.

Purely because Caleb plays in a better team I'd go with him. Fantasy Freako made a good point on Twitter today, Fantasia could just be another Taylor Hunt like last year so be careful with trading him in.

Very good point and could definitely be how it turns out.

I'm rolling the dice on him. Might be because I like his name - mostly hoping that Essendon will keep playing the same way and he'll be the Zerrett/Zaha of the defenders. He showed glimmers of being a good DT scorer with the full Essendon team (not great but good for his experience level) -
Year 1 - First 3 games - meh. Vest for all.
Year 2 - Up and down with 3x80's plus 53 in a half coming on in the 3rd quarter - sample size 6 games. (I'm counting a pre-season game against melbs here)
Year 3 - 'baby' Bombers - 71, 100, 120.

I predict he'll average around 80 - hoping for more.
I'm ranked 26,461 so I figure I may as well take the punt. If I were doing better I'd go Wagner with my 2nd trade and get a sure thing in for JJ.
