Miller, Fiorini and Martin. They were unreal. Also think May played himself back in to form. Been quite average this year up until today.

I thought it was a great win, all things considering. Great grit from our guys, especially Touk.
I know brisbane are bad, and we'd like to beat em by 93, but they always play hard against us. They'd be much better if they play with this intensity every week. I'm not reading into the margin too much.

15 points up at 3 quarter time against a faster and fresher Lions at the Gabba chasing their first win with the crowd behind them? We would’ve lost that match in previous years. After 4 weeks on the road? A very meritorious win.
I'm sorry but a game high for us 6 clangers out of defence(and I think that's being kind) plus a dropped mark leading to a goal is NOT what solid defence is based on.We forgive Harbs a lot because of his line breaking.Weller needs to do more and do it better plain and simple.He has a great ability to be right where he needs to be though, so we'll persevere
I wouldnt say that bad. But you cannot rate him on the amount of touches. Yes he got a bit of it, but a lot of those touches were rushed without thinking about where he was disposing. He has nice skills when he takes his time

Tough, scrappy hardfought, gritty derby win.
Past years we would (and have) laid down for them but we held on for the win and that's what good teams are able to do.
Tough to figure out who's getting votes when your sitting behind the goals and can't see shit but id imagine that Touky will be getting a maximum from me.

Bowes was pretty poor tonight as well but no one seems to be hammering him.
Let Weller get a full season of work in this Suns line up before we start nailing him to the cross.

I said it many time he is not a halfback , he hardly play a good game as halfback at Freo too.
Wouldn't mind seeing Weller up the ground further. Has been a bit off with some decision making and a few times tonight he made crucial errors that come from a lack of confidence. Get him up on half-forward, assuming he is willing to chase and harass, where he can use his foot skills to give us someone to kick inside 50 to a target for a change and use his pace to hurt teams on the counter along with Sexton.

I imagine it much like Dew says, he says when you step over that white line you rip up birth certificates every person is equal.
Should be the same for 'how much money someone is on', judge each player on their merits on the field and not compare it to their bank account.
But I understand I am not going to change anyones mind. Lets celebrate the win over a desperate Brisbane and get around the lads!

I’m with you. He did some really good things in that 3rd quarter in amongst some silly mistakes and brain farts. He’s the new fall guy that’s for sure.
Putting aside Lachie's form which hopefully will improve I'm loving Rory T, Harbs, Jesse J down back and Maysie finding some form.
To be fair he and the Club have set him up for that

I like Martin playing the looseman in the backline , that's why moving Weller to forward is the best option if people still think he is untouchable.

He asked to come to our club. The club can say no, wait a year. Not sure how he has set himself up to be a fall guy.
