Misconduct? Does anyone know what happened?
I seem to remember Touk punching Zork in the throat and then the umpires blowing up. I thought, oh no, Touk what have you done? But they were giving Zorko a 15 metre (yep, not a typo, they brought the free kick from 40m out to 25m out) penalty, and Maysie got a rare goal. That was the turning point of the whole match.

Footy is theatre. It’s pantomime. Booo and boo away. The only time I’ve ever disapproved of booing was when it was directed at Adam Goodes. It smelt too much of racism to me.
West UnAustralians started the bullshit Goodes booing and he retired early because of it. A shameful chapter in the game. They booed Winmar for being Black and they booed Michael Long the same. People took pleasure in booing Goodes because they momentarily found their freedom to be openly racist. Penrith fans booed Greg Inglis last month when he was concussed and forced off for assessment, with some fans racially abusing him. It wouldn't happen in Queensland and I hope I'm not wrong about that.

Well someone rated wellers game
Got 1 vote in the coaches association voting
He was named in the best on afl.com.au too. People aren't saying he did well here for fear of being flamed. It will be years before some people accept him, which is a shame because it is really just their pride that prevents them from seeing him objectively. He played a good game except for a few passages of play that led to damaging turnovers. I could have named 6 better players and was cursing him with the rest when he messed up, but objectively speaking he played his part in a great club win and gets better each week. Meanwhile, Luke Davies-Unitard spend the week on the pine and everybody continues to underestimate Charlie Ballard's role in the trade.

Ok,
Wasn't really casting judgement or my opinion was just an observation given it stirred up so much discussion.

Turn it up 17er-“It will be years before some people accept him, which is a shame because it is really just their pride that prevents them from seeing him objectively.”
Bit high and mighty. He did put up some slop.
I’d say the Coach’s 1 Point was Fagan confusion as he’s a bit old in the tooth
And the Best mention was just a journo being rushed to get his story submitted so it could be put online while people were still awake.

See what I mean? You give Weller an honest appraisal and get burnt, so nobody bothers. As I said, he made some clangers among his 20 odd touches and I wasn't big on his overall performance, but he doesn't deserve this excessive scrutiny. The best on ground was from Michael Whiting, who covers the Suns more than anybody. No need for ageism on Fagan either - the guy is fresh from steering the Hawks around for their best period since the 80s and is one of the sharper minds in the game.

Umm had to agree with you after watching replay , Weller don't really had lot of option to pass the ball , nobody run and provide space infront of him , i think he will score more goal if Dew move him forward than young and Holman.

My favourite judges are the ones that vote on The Suns Board Medal and he got a total of Zero Votes yesterday.
That’s right a big fat Duck Egg from our most passionate and invested fans.

Well in the aftermath of the game we’ve had the Zorko non sportsmanship and not one Brisbane supporter come in here either and display any goodwill.
They must be spewing up there by the Brown River.
Good times on the GC.
To be fair to the Lions fans their going through a really difficult time. 0-5 in a season they really thought they would show some improvement. I can't see when they'll get win number 1.

haha i don't really like the Lions but they have my pity ATM.
Ha ha- made me think of Toy Story

Nice one:laughing::laughing::laughing:
You are being sarcastic aren't you?
Aren't you?

You beat me to it. Having gone through all I’ve gone through as a GC Sports Fan in everything I can never ever have any pity on Brisbane fans.
When Brisbane teams beat us they rub it in our noses and then always try and have our club not exist the moment there is some pressure.

Bugger them. They’ve had a great time. They have great memories. I have NONE!!!!
