In isolation, is Kozi -> Jones worth it?

Kozzy got another 50k in him, but if Jones makes 200k it's worth, but not sure Jones will get that much
Find another rookie. It its super rare for a rookie to make 200k
We've already seen a couple very close to $200k increase so far this season. Jones could be a chance

**** it, I'm getting Neale, Oliver can wait. No time to take the boring, safe option, time to get Lachie and hope he goes 150 again :D

Priced at $10k less than Oliver means I might be able to turn a shit rookie into a cheap premo the following week

Heppell is an interesting one. Boat may have sailed but when Ridley went off he took nearly every kick out. If Ridley doesn't play I can see him going 100+ in dry conditions and he will be looking at make at least another 100k from here.

Swap with Phillips nets 35k + that potential 100k cash gen. Also allows for Gulden to Clarry/Neale next week.

Issue is L Jones in for Murray which is a must limits my options for Phillips until next week, which in turns leave a rookie on the field longer. I'm in the unique position where he might make sense. Definite risk but SC isn't fun without some risk

Thinking I might postpone the "get Clarry" project for a week. Double downgrade this week to get Jones and McCreery on the bubble and then Clarry and FMacrae the following week. Should leave more than enough to grab Ridley the week after when he's around the $550k mark

Really struggling with Trades this week..
Forward line looking weak, but not many options..
Missed the boat on Walker or Impey.
Zorko, Hind, Sidey options but .. meh.

Thinking I need to pounce on Neale or Oliver this week. But would need to bring in a rookie (Macrae or McCleery) to afford it. But not sold on them.

Otherwise I cull LDU, although meant to be good to go this week. So might give him another chance..
2k short to be able sideways him to Neale

Thoughts would be much appreciated :)

Is Treacy going to play? Could be a good cash injection going Flynn > Treacy

Nice team .

I would hold for this week.

Hopng Kozi plays to cover Rids .

Forwards suck this year.

Sidebottom might a option he looks to be buiding he's form.

6 mids is good this time of year 👍👍.

Yeah I think I'd be more comfortable seeing a few more tons from Neale first before I'm convinced.

I already have Jelly in my mids not averaging 100 so don't really want another sub par premo mid. Walsh is averaging 116 and is $568,500 which is a great price for him still.
*I heartily endorse this product or Sam Walsh pick*

The more I think of it the more I’m leaning towards double downgrading this week as opposed to upgrading early. With the lack of rookies on the horizon, plus the limited cash gen benched rookies we currently have I think it’s fairly important to get as many rookies on the bubble to keep the cash gen flowing as much as possible while we still can. So I think I’ll be doing:

Clark > Jones
Campbell > McCeery

This leaves me with 370k in the bank while bringing in two rookies who are set to make 50k each alone this week.

Next week I’ll do Rowe > Finlay which would leave me with around 500k in the bank.

That 500k is an easy 3 upgrades with the likes Gulden, Warner and Powell and could possibly leave me with a fair bit of cash left over as well. Perfect timing as I think Gulden and Warner have another week or so to max out, and Powell probably another 2 weeks so I maximise profits on these rookies and cull them when they’re pretty much maxed.

Even if he plays he is only averaging 26 with a BE of 9. Not gonna make much. 1 more week of Flynn projects to make 60k. Probably make you more than Treacy in total. Only reason i’d bring him in is if you need the $$ now and have no other options..

There are no guarantees on any rookies of course but I don’t mind McCleery and Macrae.

McCleery is a small forward which is bad for scoring but he seems to love a tackle and there is a need for players of his type at the Pies so reason to think he might be better than a few others.

Macrae is cheap and comes with big wraps. Pies missing a few mids so he looks one of the better downgrade options despite only posting a 40 odd in his first hit out.

Think I'll actually end up doing a double downgrade aswell. Just gonna have to wait and see. The rolling lockout makes it tough. Would hate to trade in a rookie on the bubble and he not get named!

Yeah I'm getting little Macrae until next week. Best not to go early on a rookie in my experience. It just tempts the SC gods to smite them.

Probably need a downgrade for Berry this week so I can do another upgrade to next week.

Thanks mate. :)
Leaning that way.
That was my other option.

Hoping Kozi plays.
LDU pumps out a decent score.
Macare pulls out a decent 2nd score.
Hopefully then can go one up one down next week with some clarity.

Cheers
