Not sure what to do this week. I have decided to trade Daniel I don't think he will be averaging 100+ for the rest of the season so I have traded him to jones.
I have exactly enough money to go Campbell to Petracca but I don't like him and I want either Oliver or Neale. There are a few scenarios that can play out one being I go Tex to Oliver and about $231k left which I could then trade Berry to Treacy next week and then possibly Gulden/Warner to Neale.
The other option is Trade out Berry/Campbell for Treacy getting prepared to trade out Flynn later on and maybe go Tex and Scott to Neale/Oliver next week.

If Tex is named, we can assume that his calf is ok (well good enough to play)

Is he a keeper, akin to Ziebell & Impey?

For me it's a case of addressing all other more pressing issues first - then if the time seems right and he needs to go, side trade.

Golden showers to piggy a option..

That calf did seem to hamper him quite a bit on the weekend but apart from that he is playing as good as he ever has. My concern is not as much about Tex but the rest of the team their kicking inside 50 is terrible, they need Sloane back desperately. Tex won't keep scoring the way he has been but he might be able to hold a 90 average but for me under $100k and he can be upgraded to Oliver/Neale

I'm hoping to be able to almost sideways trade Gulden to Cerra in a few weeks.

The 3 rookies I won't be trading for a while will be Gulden/Warner & Powell all the rest are on the table.

I would do tex to oliver this week imo.
tough call though.

I had a look at this.
Its a tempting idea.
The problem is I end up further away from a finished team.
If i double down grade this week and keep Tarranto, I can get a rookie to neale trade in next week. Removing a rookie from the field.
If i upgrade Tarranto this week all rookie upgrades are impossible next week.
I think my biggest problem currently is to many rookie scrubs playing.
thanks for the idea though.
Looks like you're going to have to play the waiting game Super Campaigner sucks like that.

I'm thinking I will hold, but I am open to trading him now.. could do something like this in the next 3 weeks.

Clark, Berry > Jones, Oliver
Campbell, Warner > Macrae Jnr, Neale
Gulden, Tex > Rookie, Macrae Snr

I might cull Gulden to get Rids once he bottoms out.

Just need another wookie soon to make that happen.

Agree those 3 wookies are gold.

Got to admit, this statement has me more than a little confused.

He was moving around the ground ok but he wasn't jumping up for marks which makes it hard when the Adelaide spuds can't hit the side of a barn so he has little chance of getting decent kicks to him on the lead. They really miss Sloane at least he can kick.

Not for me. I just can't see it, or accept it, he turns 31 in a couple of days, calf playing up, first good year in a long time.

I brought him in as a pure cash grab, I'm happy to dump him now that I have an opportunity, take the 100+ average and almost $200k profit and run. If I had other trades to make, I would happily hold him for a couple more weeks, but eventually he needs to go.

Sure you can keep him until his score starts dropping, if it even does, but I'm worried about an injury affected score of 20 and a big $50k drop.

Tex to Neale for $90k, move Dunkley FWD looks good on paper to me. If Tex continues scoring well I'll regret it, but I can't see him getting above $550k and I can't see him keeping this monster average up all season.

The Crows key forward was in doubt leading into the match due to calf soreness, but has recovered well during the week.

“I pulled up pretty well, a little bit sore but pulled up better than I thought I would,” Walker said.

“It’s a little bit of tightness I had during the week… I did as much as I had to for training and got through the game which was nice.

“We’ll see how it pulls up this week for this weekend coming.”

Oliver vs Neale: Assuming it's an either / or, which of the two are you taking?

I'm 50/50 atm - and it will depends if he is named or not.
If he is named, then I'll keep him.
Otherwise, I'll consider trading him this week - as I need the $$$ to upgrade

All very logical - except, he could save me some trades - as I've burnt quite a few.
So, it's a wait and see

Calf injuries are old man injuries

I fully expect Walker will have to manage it for the rest of the year.

With the news LDU is probably back

I'll go
Clark to Jones
Tom Phillips to Neale
Or Tom Phillips to Dusty

Even though Oliver's recent record against the Tiges is modest by his standards and suprisingly the MCG is not his favourite scoring venue, I would still pick him over Neale this week. It might just be a perception and I haven't looked into the numbers for this year but the Tiges give up big points to opposition mids and I expect Olliepig to score well against them this time around. Neale found some form last week but he'll have Ed Curnow on his tail for the whole game this week and if I recall correctly Ed kept him to something like 6 SC points after being moved on him after 1/2 time the last time these 2 teams met at Marvel. Two years is a long time though so might not be relevant. Similar b/e's but apart from the game were MDB tagged him out of the contest, Oliver has been in pretty good form this year. There might be a touch of subconscious Dees bias at work here but I would take Oliver right now if I could choose only one.
