Hill + Hall --> Volt + Chappy

Then if Cloke fails to impress next week I'll hopefully be able to offload him for BJ

Should solve my forward line issues.

ATM I have an OK forward line... Porpz, Rioli, Pav, Brown, Didak, Cloke, Deledio.

Porpz, Didak and Deledio are all doing well atm so have no need to trade them out. Not getting rid of Pav or Brown as premiums, Rioli is getting cash so will upgrade him later.

Want to get rid of Cloke, as he is the weakest link overall for me (apart from 7th back, like most). Have 68k in the bank, so trading him gives me about $369,500 to spend. Options are SJ, BJ, ROK, Gia.

Who do people think is the best option there? I'm leaning towards SJ as he has dropped a fair bit but looks to be finding form... BJ, not looking good so maybe pass for now, ROK and Gia seem to be more consistent but less likely to bag a big score.

Alternatively, I could downgrade Bird to rookie midfielder and use that cash to trade Cloke for Riewoldt, then the next week I could upgrade Ellis to Birchall/Newman/Waters.

Thoughts?

I think the price is right to sell ling has his BE is 105 this week and i think this is his peak what are you guys thoughts?

:confused: What kind of logic is that?

You don't trade gun DTers that have been going well just because they look like they are going to fall in price. And trading him for a player that will most likely average less and only costs 10K less is even more baffling. The B/E for these players should only matter if you want to trade for them.

This weeks trades - None at the moment

Next Weeks Trades - Hill OUT Pavlich IN
Hall OUT Brad Jono IN

BIG guns comin in, leaves me with this forward line:
Riewoldt, Franklin, Pavlich, J. Brown, Fevola, Brad Jono, Ryoli

- leaving Chapman as my only desired forward, at this rate Ryoli will be upgradable in 3-4 weeks.

I wouldn't be getting BJ in until he, either has a decent full game or gets a weeks rest. Obviously struggling with soreness, 1 weeks rest would fix this.

I have a choice of the following:

Hill -> Riewoldt
Dyson -> Mitchell
N.Jones -> Kornes

leaning towards the riewoldt deal at the moment. Only because I think i can do much better than Mitchell later on and Dyson is still rising in price. Nathan Jones I believe can improve a little, but Kornes will not be this cheap again.

Tough choices...

I could do either of these:

Dyson to Kornes

OR

Dyson to Swan +
Salopek to Mitchell

The latter gives me the chance to get two premiums in my side, although the first gets me one of the best, while he is unusually down in price. Should I hold off upgrading Salopek and just focus on getting Kornes atm?

Will have the money to get both J.Brown and B.Johnson in my team in the same week, but BJ will need to get a massive score to break even, so I might hold off just at the moment.

If Brown doesn't get suspended I'll definetly be getting him. Yes he plays the Cats in a couple of weeks, but he has the Dees next week, could play himself back into form I reckon.

Could downgrade Hill this week or next depending on whether you think he'll get his be of 69, put Gamble on the ground. Then wait 2 weeks and upgrade one of your back rookies to Burgoyne/Walters/Milburn/Gilbee etc depending on how much cash you have.

Yeah i deffinately need to get a decent scoring back in thier in place of either selwood,Proud, and Brown. As good a player as brown is i should have seen it coming that he wouldnt score highly.

Thinking of upgrading either Ellis or Johncock:confused:
Something like this??
Ellis > Bradshaw
I would obviously have more money if i trade Johncock.
If i do I have 406,900.... would like to keep 100k in the bank though.
Anyone to go for?

Wait a couple of weeks, there are plenty of good players coming down. Burgoyne or Milburne would be good options.

I would think Ellis >> Bradshaw is a bit of a sideways trade....we haven't seen the best from Ellis and he's definately improving. Limited TOG on the weekend hurt his score.

was thinking of trading kieran jack for palmer, houli, or armitage:thumbsu:
which of those is the better option:confused:

or i could not do that and trade Gram for Heath Shaw:thumbsu:

The backs i am looking at this week are S.Fisher and waiting for Goddard,Drummond,J.Bowden, P.burgoyne and Milburn who will be very cheap after this round.

If Milburn score 40 = 300 k after round 6
S.Fisher = 339 500 (BE 79)

Many good mids however i thought K.Cornes and Mitchell wouldnt score as well as they did this week. Mitchell is a bargain but still needs 110 BE, K.Cornes still needs 108. I might sit on them one more week. Watson is a bargain at 301k and Stenglein at 309 k which a good value and BE's are low for them this week.

Forwards
Riewoldt 379k and BE of 72
Chapman 410 k and BE of 138 (will continue to fall)
SJ 357 k and 65 BE (get him now same as Volt as BE's and Prices are low)

What do you guys think of Mattner out, Bradshaw/Goddard in?

I could also swap Ellis out for either, but i think he still has a lot more to give.

My patience with Kerr has snapped, ditched him for S Burgoyne. I might do the same with B Johnson however he isnt getting the hard tag, its his injuries thats screwing him over..... Do we all jump off B Johnson?

Yep Kerr is terrible value.

OUT: Kerr
IN: Sewell
