AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
I reckon if we win it will only be "just". Can't believe some of the margins being said on the main board round 7 prediction thread.
Same old cliche though I guess. These are the games we have to win if we want to be a contenderI'm actually pretty worried about this one. We have a long list of important outs and have just come off a bruising encounter which would have left those remaining quite a bit sore. Meanwhile, St Kilda will be riding high, at home, with fresh legs after their non-contact training run in Tasmania last week.

I agree with both of these perspectives - we need to be able to back up from games & also win interstate, so important to win this if we're truly going to contend in September. My fear, unfortunately, is that last Friday's very physical contest & an underdone Cogs may run into a fresh & confident Saints outfit. Fingers crossed we can scrape home.Same old cliche though I guess. These are the games we have to win if we want to be a contender
Depth critical in September.
Cogs will play and HH is in the frameLeon won't play anyone that isn't ready, cogs is either ready to go or not and I expect cogs himself to make the call on his fitness
And, Davis all good?Cogs will play and HH is in the frame

Davis is in.And, Davis all good?
Corr, Tomlinson, Davis and Himmelberg all playing? That's too many talls down back isn't it?Davis is in.
We've been playing 4 this year.Corr, Tomlinson, Davis and Himmelberg all playing? That's too many talls down back isn't it?

Greene out of forwards, and Haynes out of backs. It's out of shape. Vulnerable over the next three weeks until Cogs & Lachie find their feet and Toby returns.
Losing Haynes so soon after Buntine is hard luck.
Not a bad callMcClure is reporting that Reid is out? Surely Lloyd will get his debut? Or do we see MDB get his first game for us? Dropping like flies at the moment it seems.
I have a massive man crush on Taranto. Honestly, I think he is going to be better than The Bont. Not a bad call
But Leon always announces debutants early in the week. It hasn't happened so I'm assuming Matt Kennedy and Taranto particularly play forward.
Possibly Adam Kennedy to play Reid's role.
Taranto fascinates me, I see him do brilliant things, inevitable I guess, his inexperience leads to poor decisions at times. He does have the advantage some of our mids lacked in that he has more experience and leadership around him.

I assumed Reid was out from earlier reports, happy if he's not.I have a massive man crush on Taranto. Honestly, I think he is going to be better than The Bont.
JC (our JC, not the one from Jerusalem) just said that Reid believes he may get up, and is not necessarily an 'out'
NaahI meant to ask...is anyone going to the game?
