Round 7 Trades

Against my better judgement, am considering going Whitfield to Stewart and Butters to Kelly.

Other option is Butters to Hayes (or similar priced rookie) and Parker to Kelly.

Or Butters to Hayes and Clark to Stewart.

Thing I like about the first option is not bringing in a rookie I'm not sure of (Hayes) and I don't get rid of Parker who still has cash to make. But I lose Whitfield, which I don't much care for either.

Will need to decide something soon cause Butters is involved in all these scenarios and plays Friday.

That might be the situation if he was out of form or injured, but a suspension means he's trained fully and isn't working through any issues.

If Carlton consider him best 22, he's in.

I understand your reasoning, but that won't be the case.

25 trades left and $37k in the bank.

I'm pretty keen on the Whitfield —> Stewart move, but I'm sure I could be talked out of it. Aside from that, I'm not sure there's much to do this week (Hayes' JS isn't good enough, from the sounds of it).

Anyone thinking that Hately is the likely in with Whitfield missing a week ?? Will he get dropped again after one week when Whitfield comes back ??

Cumming watch as a halfback/wing

McCarthy -> Boak is locked, but do I get the $ for it from Whitfield -> Stewart or Atkins -> Hayes?

Whitfield looks set to miss just the 1, but it could be more. His replacement is Clark, with no cover. Yuck.

Atkins is set to shoot up in price and will likely gain more $ than Whitfield will lose. And I'll need to eventually use more trades to get Whitfield back in. No guarantee I'll be able to do that before his price goes back up.

I'm no chance for the overall so I am leaning towards holding Whitfield, take the hit on points this week, get the Hayes cash and pray Whitfield is back fit and firing next week.

I would have thought setterfield was the most obvious replacement for either Newman or Simpson. But then again, what would I know?
Setterfield is a half forward/occasional mid

I would say Cuningham, Dow, SPS, Gibbons, Polson etc are his sort of competition in the side

Just butters to Boak for me with 152k in the bank.

Edit, could possibly go butters to Kelly, before he price jumps and then Boak next week hoping he doesn't get his 116 be and drops abit.

Daniher has never looked like averaging 90, let alone 100. The downfall for Greene is fitness, not scoring ability. Daniher has neither.

I don't know mate, he was reasonable in 2017, his first true big season, then got injured last year

I wouldn't pick him, but he wouldn't be the worst pick, probably better value in Joe than say holding a Dunkley type hoping he comes good

Feel he'll pump a big year out one of these years when fully fit
