Are those with Ross on their field not worried that Cotch should be back in round 8 which may affect his scoring?

Currently I'm also torn with the whole 'to trade Libba, or to not trade Libba' thing. It makes sense to trade Libba out and stick Ross on the field in theory. The problem I see here, is that when Cotch comes back, Ross's scoring is likely to dip and then we'll be behind the 8 ball again and will be scrambling to upgrade him. If Libba stays in it's obviously much harder to do the 1 up 1 down this week but also gives a little more insurance for when Cotch is back which isn't far off. Because it isn't far off, I don't think it'll be as simple as just upgrading one of the mid rookies as you need serious cash to do it. Guess I just have no clue what to do right now
I don't think Ross is a worry, could be wrong, but he's taken Grahams spot (who's now out with a hammy) and even with Cotch back he'll still keep his mid minutes allowing the others to rotate fwd/mid. I don't think Ross has the flexibility yet to rotate fwd with the likes of Baker, Martin, Cotchin and Rioli. Plus he's a pure inside mid.

I like this idea, although I'm not sold on which forward I'd like to bring in. Already have Boak, Telly, Danger and Worpel - no one else really screams "pick me"

I could do something like
Out: Libba, Burgess
In: Answerth, Zac Jones/Laird
Yeah I think going the other way works for you if you have those forwards. Laird a likely looker

Two of the forwards with some appeal are Ebert and Ablett - which just makes the byes worse if you already have Kelly, Danger, Boak - and in my case - Drew and Rozee as well....

So I’d prefer to upgrade defence first if I can...

Pretty sure Cotch has had a setback hasn't he? So Ross should be good for at least a few more weeks

Yeah I have all of the above! Thanks for that info, lots to think about

I’m looking at Scrinshaw to Sicily in a few weeks to stick with upgrading, but not destroy my bye planning...

Now, you cannot do this for everything - but if it’s an option, it’s worth thinking about....

Bottomsmelly said in an interview this week that he is likely to spend more time forward, should help Libba and Dunkley's scoring output
Don't do this to me. Has it being explained anywhere (by Bevo or otherwise) why Libba has been spending so much time forward? I know his CBA numbers are still up there but it seems like he's spending a lot of his time up forward and spuds like Gowers are running through the middle?

Well Bevo and Horse have been playing silly buggers, I have Dunkley and Libba and I'm totally confused as to what their roles are. Same with Heeney and Mills.
I'm inclined to ditch the lot and go with the guys that have defined roles, (apart from lloyd) it's just too much of a lottery otherwise.

I'd take a flyer on him by way of Petrel and DPP with one of my mids
Personally, if he's named I still wouldn't go him as he's likely to be dropped once a half back comes back. Only have back in the 2s at the moment who should be in the 1s is Williamson who i reckon we'd try and make room for no matter who is playing once he's fit.

Yeah I'll wait for team lists I guess, but I've been ahead of the curve the last few weeks with Hayes, Answerth etc so would maybe ride my luck with him if he's named and bank on him having a decent enough game to keep him in the team. Only early days though so I'll probably change my mind heaps before Friday anyway, but he's worth a discussion at the very least.

Can swing Butters/Setters to get whoever I want. Trading Butters at this stage, can grab any mid or forward under 508k
Constable is gone, Ross is too pricey now and will max out in the next couple of weeks.

Stocker looks like getting a run.

Don't know how Rowbum is looking.

Larkey might be the go?
