I'm considering getting Sam Gray. Favourable role change.
Not sure I trust anyone's "role change" to work in our favour for too long though, especially this year.
Robbie out so Sam should still kick goals (or maybe even go to full back) ;) but against a dismal West Coast & North Melbourne for his good scores and a 60 & 40 prior to that is enough for me to pass. At some point Port will play Trengove (mid or half forward), his SANFL form is hard to ignore.

Praying that Mummy doesn't get a rest this week. If not,

Burgess -> 170k, if no-one named I'll downgrade another bench dud, then
Stack -> Laird

Gonna go early with Stack even though I'm sacrificing a couple more price rises from him. Feel like he's always a chance to give me a 30 and getting a keeper in with the favourable bye will be a big improvement.

Will hold Libba.

Exciting week of trades ahead!

Matthew Parker > Josh Corbett.

Underwhelming addition but should have similar scoring output and job security should be there. Even Burgess got 6 weeks. I considered Answerth but his NEAFL scores are horrible and he played Gold Coast in a thrashing. If he backs it up he should still be priced nicely as a target next week.

But I'm really digging my second trade idea.

Tom Liberatore > Josh Kelly.

Massively unique and with question marks over Cogs and Whitfield's fitness, as well as a favourable fixture and BYE. It just screams pick me. I don't want to trade Libba but I don't have any other critical unnderperformers

B.Scott to Hayes (Gives me 140k)

Rowan Marshalls one im looking to upgrade. Theres just o FWDs i trust. I took a risk getting Marshall in and hes given me an 88, 53 and Late out.

I cant afford Boak and dont trust Billings from having him from the start last year.

Libba to Answerth
Balta to Boak

Bench Drew/Rozee and field Duursma/Ross

Plus get rid of the stagnant cash gen of Balta

Decent trade I think.. 😏

May have to try fix Newman though.. 🤦‍♀️

Settled on Cousins (who was riding the pine this week) to Shiel. Wanted to bring in a GWS mid but am waiting one more week because there's a 33% chance they'll cop a Steele tag (between TT, Kelly and cogs, if he plays). And after having Sloane get the tag the week just gone I don't want to have a fortnight of PTSD.

Went Petrel to Larkey, and after constantly picking up rookies (Answerth, Hayes, Stack etc) I feel as though I'll just go one up and one down the next few weeks when it comes to trades.

All depends on the fitness of Cogs and Newman, but at this stage plans are:

Libba -> Answerth (Ross on to field)
Parker -> Boak

Still leaves me with a bit of cash to go Williams/Smith/Newman to Laird the following week if all goes well.... if....

As a crows fan, I am very very reluctantly going to target boak this week.

Have 430k to spend so Parker to boak should strengthen my Forward line. Fingers crossed Setterfield comes back into the team. Although the way they played last week I doubt he does!
Odd qualifier, dream team transcends team allegiances

it seems like whitfield and coniglio will both be out. I've changed my mind and feel that the safest thing is to trade them both out.

if coniglios finger is really bad maybe he plays deep forward? whitfield will probably just miss a week but if you want to keep your ranking high I feel that you can't hold him and miss the points. Perhaps better to downgrade to a houli/stewart/hurn and pick up whitfield in a couple weeks.

Big decisions to be made!

Not a lot of players miss weeks from corkies and dislocated fingers. They may play under duress, in the forward line or on limited minutes but I would be surprised if both missed out

Agreed but the news reports very much suggest they could miss, especially for whitfield who looks more likely to miss than play. Imagine a late withdrawal as well. yikes

Sitting inside the top 370 now! Happy with that
Double downgrade this week (have an easy league match-up. If I was concentrating on overall I'd play it differently I think)

Libba > Answerth & Parker to Larkey. Gives me $552K to spend next week. Ideally get Rocky and Laird/Boak with it

I’m also bringing in Kelly, there’s no doubting his scoring potential

Hopefully they play Cogs forward for a few weeks. Won’t happen but just Imagine if he got DPP ;)

2088 last round. Not great but moved up SLIGHTLY into the top 2k (500 points off the lead :'( )

trades this week - thinking double downgrade and get both NPRs (schultz and scott) off my bench
i have no cash for upgrades anyway.
Gives me one more week for cows to fatten, plus pockets me 200k and puts me in a good place come Byes

Libba - will give him one more week. if he cant pull his finger out against the tigers hes gone !
Whitfield- cant waste 2 trades getting him out then back in so will sit on my bench if he doesnt play
Cogs - same

team before trades this week
