Is Young any good forward though? The switch with Grimes won’t do much if he’s not any good theregrimes forward trust me
if it doesnt work out can switch him with young at half time
just start him there
no idea but pretty sure he grew up playing forward and kicked 9 goals in a game for bumfu*k 2sIs Young any good forward though? The switch with Grimes won’t do much if he’s not any good there
If you say so. The guy had possibly his worst game for us in defence last week, so maybe it’s worth trying him elsewhere should the Grimes experiment failno idea but pretty sure he grew up playing forward and kicked 9 goals in a game for bumfu*k 2s
if theres a time for experimenting, its farrken nowIf you say so. The guy had possibly his worst game for us in defence last week, so maybe it’s worth trying him elsewhere should the Grimes experiment fail
I want to win , dont have the tanking mindset like u campaigners yet
He big enough and quick enough to play a defensive forward on May. If he can bring the ball to ground it would give us a chance. Is Young any good forward though? The switch with Grimes won’t do much if he’s not any good there
Hope your right mate !!its a great night anzac eve game, even better when we put them away by 7 points. Its ours to lose.
Lots of hit up passes inside 50 and we looked a million dollars. Best we looked all season.Kicked 3 in the first Q vs demons last year
I’ve mentioned it before, but I remember Hodge getting a kick in the centre of the Launceston ground and rather than kick it inside 50 normally, he kicked it along the ground; a tumbling punt. Still covered 50 metres or so. Very deliberate, and no doubt designed to help his small fwds; Breust, Cyril and Puopolo.reckon we should kick a chaos ball along the ground inside 50 every time so lever/may are useless and let MRJ/Bolton/Dusty go to work
we did it a few times under dimma i thinkI’ve mentioned it before, but I remember Hodge getting a kick in the centre of the Launceston ground and rather than kick it inside 50 normally, he kicked it along the ground; a tumbling punt. Never understood why we never tried it. God knows how many times we’ve kicked long to Jack, only for it to be picked off by blokes like Moore, Howe, May, Lever, McGovern etc.
Especially in a big game (who knows when we’ll be in one of them) but blokes get the fumbles with strange bounces on a big stage.
GF blowouts are common but there’s no way that any team is generally 10 or 15 goals superior. You get some strange bounces and one team fumbles a few times early and before you know it you’re shot.
I’m a fan.
Waterman kicked another 5 and in WC's best yesterday, so not a mug after all. Match up was wrong, Young plays well on the tall leading types, not the ball of muscle like Waterman. If you say so. The guy had possibly his worst game for us in defence last week, so maybe it’s worth trying him elsewhere should the Grimes experiment fail
we are going to bomb it in again, nothing surerreckon we should kick a chaos ball along the ground inside 50 every time so lever/may are useless and let MRJ/Bolton/Dusty go to work
two days to go and we have 66 posts! this game perhaps is a forgone conclusion
Heart says we may show some fight but mind says we'll get flogged!
How much are we going to lose by?Our mids were smashed against WCE and the Dees midfield is a lot better than theirs. This will be our biggest loss of the season so far
How much are we going to lose by?
Should I watch Masterchef instead?
