Went with Dunkley, Charlie, Hippy, Payne and Andrews. Berry and Clug unlucky but I think their opponents hurt us a bit

Bit annoying that managing Ashcrofts midfield time will cost him the rising star

Our best pressure game even factoring in that last quarter

Gunston showed his value. Must enjoy etihad because he's played his only 2 good games for us there

Should've been 40+ but still very enjoyable

People talk about giving guys some continuity in a team to try and get their confidence up and at times you think it’s just a bit cliche but in watching Payne play this year, you can actually see what that continuity and subsequent confidence has given him. I think we might have a pretty handy homegrown defensive duo there for years to come now.

Yes If the coaches like what he offers give him the next few games while Rich and Zorks are out to settle into his role... can not expect him to come in to the seniors for the first time in a while and dominate/play really well.

Sharp had a much better game than Wilmot. He clearly struggled in the first, but improved every quarter. Had 20 pressure acts, 13 touches and a goal to go with four score assists. Doubt he'll stay in the team for more than maybe one more week, but think he can hold his head high on how he worked through the game and ran out the match well using his martinson tank

Sharp worked his way into the game and probably played his best game yet in the end but still don’t think the good things he did outweighed the contests he had zero impact on. Likewise Answerth ran his backside off all night and applied plenty of pressure but I still believe Prior, Dev or Ah Chee would offer more. I won’t be surprised if Answerth keeps his spot but Ah Chee or Prior in for Sharp next week.

Also credit to Lyons, did some classy things when he came on in the last.
