Best part was the adulation by the commentators about Curnow and Payne absolutely flogged him .
Brilliant game from Dunkley , Zac was good .
Loved how young Harry improved as the game went on . Same with Hugh .
A good team effort in Melbourne .

Great win at the ground. Carlton fans really don't know the rules and it was great to see so many leave early.

Dunkley massive with a quadruple double.

Loved Payne and Andrews in shutting down one of the best tall forward duos in the comp.

Charlie and Bailey getting on the scoring end was beautiful.

Loved the pressure in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Cant wait to see the replay

The biggest worry not just from this game but the last couple of weeks is the soft tissue injuries. Rich/Zorko last week. Kiddy possibly with that hamstring tonight and Ralphy was saying Dizz was due back in the ressies but pulled up sore with an abductor issue.

Considering how well we’ve done with injuries the past few years you just hope it doesn’t cost us in what could be our best chance yet at making a serious run at it.

Dunkley was phenomenal. It’s not just the the disposal count but his defensive side of the game is huge. It has added such an important dimension to our midfield.
Payne has been so good. I said from last year or the year before that we should have him in the team over Gardiner because his upside is far bigger.
Charlie should’ve had more. I don’t understand how the oppo players constantly get away with all the holding on him.
Quietest game so far from Ashcroft but he was still really solid.
Bailey needs to stop taking on too much, sometimes he is just better off Running straight on with the ball than trying to turn back into the middle.

The last quarter was disappointing but I’m not too worried about it either. I still don’t like Lyons as the sub. You want your sub to add run and exploit the opposition by being fresh and I just don’t think he does.

Great performance by the whole team. Payne has truly arrived as a player - the only way for him is up. Despite BT and Richo trying to whip up a Carlton comeback narrative I felt we were never in any danger in that final quarter. Carlton were obviously going to come out firing after getting destroyed in the third. I thought Answerth and Sharp were serviceable in their roles. If they stayed in the team I'd have no issues with that.

Got challenged early and responded emphatically for the rest of the match. We keep banking wins and that's all that matters at this point.
