Thinking Finlayson > Hibberd. Hibberd seems to have bottomed out and hopefully he keeps his current form up. If he does go back to shit then he's scoring the same as Finlayson anyway but with a higher floor and ceiling.

Same argument to get Zorko.

Savage 33 in Q1 and only another 32 for the game. (6,10,16)
Could probably do without him. Lost $21k this week.
Scored 65 this week and 50 a fortnight earlier.

Daniel Rich might be a quick downgrade. Cheaper and has returned from injury with 97 & 93.

Going into the round, there wasn't much separating Doedee to A.Brayshaw ($wise)

Tim English notched his third 30 score for the year. A 30 is too much spud to have on field and $425 too pricey for a bench spot. (He lost money this week)

Trades should be fun if I get rid of English to rookie, field Spargo (playing gold coast) and go shopping with the $.

Also great that McInerney doesn't seem to be affecting Stef's scores like Smith does. More fwd.

English > Keeffe
Doedee > Whitfield or Hibberd

Still have Parker and Billings spudding it up though :(

Can anyone make a case for Parker's form improving any time soon?
Unfornately, no. Just get rid of him. He has the hawks this week and he never stands up in the big games. Thought he would finally ton up against the Roos but when they actually out up a fight I knew Parker would go to water. He is a shadow of his former self and is simply not good enough as a midfielder to get to 100 points.

Upgrade targets over next month

Def: Hurley, Hibberd, Yeo
Mid: MCrouch, Curnow, Treloar
Fwd: Sicily

Post bye: Gray, Wingard

Time to think about byes so r12 is ideal (WC, WB, Carl, Haw), therefore Sicily probably main priority this week. However the other premos other than MCrouch are r13 which is a nice bye too.

Was gonna do a double downgrade, but it just seems too boring lol. Want to do something fun this week, so based on the below excerpt from Fagan on AFL.com.au, I'm gonna have a crack at Zorko and see how we go.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-05-06/fagan-hotline-helps-zorko-finally-bounce-back

Trades are:

English > Spargo
Doedee > Zorko (due to Seeds being moved back to make room for Zork)

Was originally gonna keep Doedee on the bench, but I needed the extra cash and with his matchup against the Dogs this week, I'm willing to risk a low score from Zorko to actually breathe a bit of life into what has been a dull couple of weeks haha.
Yeah I think I might also roll the dice on Zorko. I think you might have to go this week on him to make sure you get his big scores, think he will be good again against the dogs. Parker to Zorko has no risk for me whatsoever with Parker being a spid every week. Another reason to pick Zorko is becauase he is exciting. I don’t want to get bored of this game and at this stage, I am happy to wear some 80s to see a few Zorko 150s. If Zorko tries like he did last week then he is too good to be completely tagged out of a game.

Great point and I’m torn
I’d like to see Zorko do it twice before jumping on but they have WB/Hawks/Syd next few weeks and if he gets going he could hit 150 again.

Think you can only get him for a maxed rookie or very underforming premo - only Billings for me.
Zorko has to be considered the same as injury and suspension prone players like Greene and Ablett. Even if he plays, 170 plus 70/60 still leads to an average of 100 and puts your league score in jeopardy every 2nd week.

Got enough cash to do a double upgrade (albeit to fallen "premiums"):

English > Zorko/Redden
and
Finlayson > Hibberd

Could be a make or break trading week!

So many mids that'll be ripe in a few weeks I kind of want to leave a little room there, add Pendlebury after his injury affected score.
Zorko
Dangerfield
M.Crouch etc. (Could go big in the showdown)

Then there's Rocky, found some form in the SANFL on the weekend and with a high B.E, still has money to lose. Many will go here later in the year when he enters the $400k's (you know you will) ;)

With the well reported hard W.A turf, how many port players are a time bomb? Hopefully none as there's been too many shit injuries this year. Must be frustrating as a player.

Really considering trading in the Sic Dawg, unsure if it's worth the risk though.
Think he is one of the highest ceilings of all defenders and i am for some reason (god knows why) confident he will stop being an idiot and getting himself suspended.

Either way he will be coming in for me and i am jumping on the roller coaster.

Scored 92, 69, 78, 111, 135.

Only one real poor score in that bunch and is finding some good form at the moment and i think he is still under priced.

So my rookie mids are Brayshaw, Banfield, Kelly, Cunico and Mutch. All of them have low BEs so should make some more cash.

Is it worth trading one in now to get on Macrae before he's unreachable, or better to focus on, say, Finlayson to Seedsman/Sicily?

I was tempted (and could have got Macrae a few weeks back) - paying a much higher price now to do it....

That's my worry, he's just getting more and more unattainable and has been freakishly consistent.

He has been consistent (from a supporter perspective for years, rarely has a bad game) - but his fantasy game is first rate now. He will have a dip, but can you wait for it ?

I was ditching one of Banfield/Brayshaw until I worked out it wouldn't give me quite enough cash to get Macrae.

Will possibly lose one next week unless they both go big....
