Thought I was sold on Parker > JPK and Billings > McLean
but Billings > Keeffe and Parker > MaCrae leaves me with 260k next week...tempting

Parker or Billings more of a priority to dump? I really dislike them both but figure it's better to fix the mids?

I'm upgrading around them in the hope they turn it around soon.

Reason being that a) they have a proven ability to score big and b) their floor is no better than a rookie's ceiling, so far better off upgrading the rookie in this case.

If they're still struggling at their bye, then by all means cut them but it seems too far into the season to be sideways trading premiums even if it feels like an upgrade!

Billings IMO. Parker will at least go back to the mids when Franklin and others return, so his upside is better than Billings who is playing in a poor team with not much desire.

124 and 138 in his last 2 since being moved more on-ball. Priced at 569k with a b/e of 30.

Am i crazy for considering Jack Redden?

No, but for his price or around 30k more you could get zorko or JPK.

Think Zorko carries the same risk, in a different way. A role change could mean Redden is crap and the same goes for Zorko if he's tagged.

JPK is a great shout, even if he is 40k more expensive.

Shuey and Sheed both out for some weeks so Redden should play pure midfield unlike earlier this season where he was playing out of the forward line a lot

If Shuey and Sheed are both out for a few weeks then Redden is a lock at least up until their R12 bye.

Sheed could be back as early as this week but Shuey is a huge loss for us in the middle so Redden will have to play that role

Doedee and Finlayson out.

I can target any of Mrouch, Zerrett and Zorko.

Who and why? Come at me BF opinions.
Crouch, the other 2 couldn't fight their way out of wet paper bag when they cop some attention. With Sloane, Gibbs and Laird in the team Crouch will roam free all season

The reason I moved them on was because their BEs meant they were losing coin while the rookies were gaining. This and the fact that those who came in had gettable BEs and so made a little money as well as scored points.

At the moment I have gone:
Tim English > Jack Redden
Jack Billings > Angus Brayshaw

I would get Kennedy over Redden but can't find a way that I could afford that. Get the feeling everyone will jump on Zorko so I'm going Redden for a POD and am prepared for it to backfire. Do need Guelfi to get back in this week though.

This is a make or break week for me. I have 400k in the bank so have plenty of options. I don't know whether to upgrade Doedee/Finlayson/Waterman or just upgrade Parker and Billings.

to Zork or not to Zork?

I'm so far back I'm pretty sure I'm gonna roll the dice on him.
DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!! I started with him and traded out 2 weeks ago. Even Zerrett is a better option.
Zork may not get another 70 points all year

They're only losing coin if you move them on.

1. Parker + Crowden -> MacRae + Mutch
2. English + Findlayson -> MacRae + 170k ruck
3. Florent + English -> R Gray + Crossley

Thoughts? I'm leaving towards 1 ATM
