He has been consistent (from a supporter perspective for years, rarely has a bad game) - but his fantasy game is first rate now. He will have a dip, but can you wait for it ?

I was ditching one of Banfield/Brayshaw until I worked out it wouldn't give me quite enough cash to get Macrae.

Will possibly lose one next week unless they both go big....

Might ditch Cunico for now.. but will have a think. Bit annoying as they all have more cash to generate.

I have the same midfield rookies and I intend to hold them all. Not paying top dollar for Crae when MCrouch, Danger, Pendles, Adams etc will be under 700k

Danger I have, Crouch I'm worried about his hammies, Pendles an injury doubt now, Adams doesn't have the ceiling Macrae is showing.

I could go Fyfe instead, you could be right, but Macrae's ownership is still so low (doubt it after this week) that he's doubly valuable.

It is a massive conundrum though. Not sure what the right option is.

Some people hate paying the premium for a guy at the peak, which I understand.

Other option is to upgrade to a guy on the rise (M Crouch - ?) and get Macrae if he can't keep hitting his BE and slips a little....

Any collingwood fans know what the go with Adams is this season? I know he was injured but returned with a score in the 40's against a weak opposition. Crazy to think he will be under 600k soon

Only 99 so should hit that this week but yeah if he drops off could be ok. Risk though then is you're giving up potentially 30-40 points a week unless Crouch gets back to his best, waiting for Macrae to slip.

Decisions, decisions.

So my rookie mids are Brayshaw, Banfield, Kelly, Cunico and Mutch. All of them have low BEs so should make some more cash.

Is it worth trading one in now to get on Macrae before he's unreachable, or better to focus on, say, Finlayson to Seedsman/Sicily?

Apart from Mutch and Kelly, how much more money will the others make? Probably 50k over the next month. Whoever is on your bench, trade them in. Macrae is worth the points and will probably rise another 30-50k himself.

99 BE for him, 122 for MCrouch, so might even try and bring him in next week for Brayshaw/Banfield to almost max out my midfield.

Crouch should get close to 120 so I think he's about bottomed out.
Macrae is rising 20k per week, obviously won't keep hitting 140+ but he will hit 100, and occasionally much bigger so is worth the investment IMO.

Brayshaw and Banfield are doing well for Freo and becoming quite consistent AF scorers, but won't hit 80+ so unless it's Kelly I'd be moving on all M7/8/9 midfield rookie types.

Tend to agree. With Macrae I'm only starting Kelly and one other mid on my field now so don't have to worry too much about rookies in terms of their pure output as a contribution towards my score.

Forward line is a trainwreck but think it is for most people.

Defence is my next focus to bring in guys like Seedsman/Goddard/Sicily I think (or I guess Sicily up forward).

Im playing the BE game with my outs this week. English the first one out, then either of Finlayson or Crowden.

At this stage I have Keeffe and Goddard/Simpson in.
Hoping Pendles doesnt miss a week, but wont trade him out

Surely Keeffe gets dropped when Lobb comes back (which will likely be this weekend) ?
