Anyone know the significance of those boxing gloves hanging down in the players race?

McCluggage is a star. So impressed by him.

Had a big grin on my face when Eagles kicked the goal and have a feeling it's going to stay there for a while. What a win.

Yeh! Great win as a team today. Thought Tom Cutler was terrific. Lucky supporters who got to see that live and the enjoyment of the seeing the players after the siren. Hope for a repeat when I’m up there next weekend for the Swans/lions. Lions scarf will be displayed proudly around my neck this week in cold Melbourne...especially as I will be travelling on the eastern suburbs train line. Lovely!!

Could’ve easily put a line through Eagles after last week but Fagan persisted and what a reward for the belief. Sliding doors moment that - love it!!!!
Yep, thought the same thing, also adding Bundy and Hipwood, and each were excellent today and showed they belong (noting they still have work to do, but they responded which is what you want).

Cutler showed exactly what a few of us have known for a long time, that he is a serious player, and damaging too...just needs consistency now (3KZ is Football I like the Notting comparison.)

Hugh McCluggage is phenomenal.

That tackle he laid, his one touch class. It’s like the opposition slow down around him.

It is going to be an honour to watch him play over the next decade.

Eric Hipwood shutting up all the ridiculous nay sayers on this board. Yes he’ll have quiet games, but he’s finding more of the ball and our forwardline is functioning very well.

The most exciting KPP I’ve ever seen come through. In 5 years time he’d kick 10 on a night like that.

So excited for the future of this team. The best 4 quarter performance under Fagan. What a game, was an odd feeling leaving the Gabba with a warm winning glow.

I started tearing up after Hippy's mark late in the third, ready to declare game over if he kicked it. Of course he missed it, Roughead kicked one and the moment was lost.

Cutler has worked on his defensive game and has improved his kicking. Looks really good on the wing.

I think a lot of us on this board were asking questions when he wasn't getting games. Got a chance from a late out and has seized it. Whatever was drilled into him worked. Has improved with every single game and was amongst the best tonight.

Now that’s something to be proud of!! Disposal finally tidied up and look what happened. Didn’t hurt that Clug had 27. Just knows what to do with it. Onwards!!

I'll bet you started bawling like a baby when he kicked his next in the 4th.

I think it's fair to say that was the Clug's best game to date :D
