Forwards just need to lead to space- players coming down the field should just be going for goal when near the 50, no value trying to pick out players who are covered with dinky passes.

In all seriousness we've been alright and they look beatable. Good one for the neutrals, been up and down all game. Reckon we can win this now.

Just a little untidy in the contest and bad going inside 50.

We also never seem to learn to control their options it’s just 6 blokes at the ball carrier which they absorb and get out. Ratts being outcoached again.

Once again we flood up the field so when we get the ball back there is no one to kick to. Why does the team do this every week?

Because we don't have midfield quite often, so everyone shits themselves and "oh, better defend", so you end up with then having to work from deficit. We then breakdown at HFF because we always leave one floating defender free to just do as they please as you then have multiple forwards buggering off for a get out assist and then busting back.

We also rely on stoppage to transition, they're relying on possession at present and it's making us look manic by comparison where the usual "we make it hard" looks a tad worse.

As fatigue sets in and errors creep up, we just need to be close enough and it'll get to "our" level, we then just need to make sure to maintain the natural growth of the game and stick that close enough.

We should be in front with all the forward 50 entries we've had yet we are still 13 points down.

Typical St Kilda, beat the other team in general play but can't make it count on the scoreboard.

Our forward line is a mess, we need to look for Sharman, this kid is one of our few players with some composure and doesn't panic under pressure.

Looks like most games against Geelong in the last 10 years plus. Is it system? Classier players? Lack of confidence? I'm not sure.

Don't understand what's going on with this team, swear membrey had narkle lined up for a body on body tackle as the were contesting the same loose ball, he moves to the side to tackles with just arms, naturally narkle swings and gets a pass off.

Lots of little things in this game that boil down to poor technique and footy smarts, Ratts better get them to wake up

Simple, because Rattens tells them to play this way, play like a little league team to win the ball with numbers, but have no space or skills to move the ball efficiently forward once we get it.
