unchanged line up, with el mac & ryan not fit i'm happy going unchanged

obviously wins are needed, but % boosting wins are needed if we're looking to push for finals

we play cats & pies for the last 2 rounds. there's also likely only 1 spot in the 8 that has 6 teams vying for it. which means we need 2 wins, and then to either hope every other team goes 1-1, or we smash the teams we beat and can be safe on %. not looking likely but far from impossible

the capitulation to the suns after the siren is likely going to come back to bite us in the arse. even a draw would've been fantastic

As long as Essendon beat Carlton, winning our last 2 games gets us in for sure. We would pass Geelong and the loser of Sydney v Collingwood, as well as Carlton by getting 8 points. Having said that on current form, we probably aren't winning both games. We fell in against Hawthorn with this lineup and they are a fair way short of out next 2 opponents. Given the narrow margains, losing Mckenzie for the season will be the difference between 4th like last year and missing the 8.

Going to be a bit blowy tnite
S/E winds up 20k favouring one end.
Cats got pulled in close with the rain last week against the Pies it was only when it dried off a little in the last they nearly ran over the top of em.
It’s gonna to come down to how wel we stop em getting away from the stoppage to score.
We are gonna need more than 12 shots on goal I think and will probably go down to the last couple of minutes.

yeah just looking at who is playing who this week, everyone plays a team above them (that's on 16 points)

so we're wanting

melb to beat freo (already happened)

lions to beat stk (lions down by a goal early in the 2nd qtr)

bombers to beat blues (bombers up 24-0)

richmond to beat geelong (...pls)

pies to beat swans (we'll find out sunday arvo)

if all those happen, we only have to then win against the pies next week and don't have to rely on any other outcomes...... yeah good luck

If they can play like last week, similar game style then they have a definite chance of beating the cats. If they do win, it should be enough to sneak in the 8. Who would've thought that before we played the Hawks last week?

Then hope for the pies to beat the swans tomorrow.

Watch it on Foxtel/Kayo or live on the below link.

GO TIGES!!!

We got a free 30 out and we missed a soda. Gotta take your chances.

Conti 6-7 touches half went to the opposition. Egan is just ultra-slow.

We did get some ascendancy back late in the term but needed to nail at least one goal.

Our skill level is poor but still in it. Cats two goals gifted by the umps.
