Better weather here too.. Also don't have to read 6 pages a day in the local rag on how much a rabble Carlton are.. Only 2Don't mind Adelaide, prefer it to some parts of Melbourne (all inner suburban doucehbag tosser hovel infested shitholes particularly Brunswick which was once a great suburb but now is plagued by hipster ********* and Fitzroy which should be carved out of the earth and propelled to the sun) plus shitholes like Frankston and the like.
Judd, Murphy and Gibbs out. Cripps either scores 150 or 50.
Some interesting selections. Hamling, J.Koloja....., Luxfors, Brooksby, Amon selected on the ground, Daniel Howe, Jonothan Marsh. Would be nice to see a couple of the R13 boys get a decent go. Might solve a few issues through the byes
Hamling is a key defender who will play on a third tall. Will probably see Grant, Dale or webb as subBailey and Hamling named on field?
Would KMac and Newton > Rocky and Hamling work?
I wouldnt keep faith in brooksby as of yet. He is yet to prove himself to us so he may get dropped after one game. Its too early to bring him in, wait till round 11 and if he plays then he should be considered. However having bellchambers in your f7 would be better(thats if you have cox or read or a fwd/ruc in r3) that would be a more ideal option as you know he is the first choice ruckman and wont be droppedCurrently re-assessing.
Don't feel it's worth burning a trade to get rid of Ryder, but don't want to cop the donut at this point- looking Naismith>Brooksby, which gives me a playing r3, helps for bye round cover, and I net 40k on the deal.
Biggest drawback is to skull**** either Lumumba or Tarrant out, knowing the one I keep will lose me money.
Thinking Prince>Hamling, which leaves my bank at $292k (was $3k this morning).
I would hold mcintosh for as long as possible, there are no downgrade options as for this week, Mcintosh may not be the best but he has quite high job security at the tigersWhich rookie should I downgrade McIntosh towards?
Already done Tarrant -> Gray. Want some extra cash for future upgrades. Have the required DPP's to trade in any one who isn't a ruck.
Tarrant to a dale then going miller-rocky should seal the deal
Cripps can stay till his bye, Carlton have a depleted midfield meaning Cripps becomes their second most important. He is a contested beast so hold him. If you need an Up down grade then Tarrant to Franklin and Miller-Amon/Dumont/MenadueShaw - Ibbotson - Newnes - Hibberd - Saad - Simpson (McIntosh - Lever)
Fyfe - Pendlebury - Kennedy - Selwood - Miller - Cripps - Rockliff - Wines (Krakouer - McKenzie - Glenn)
Goldstein - Naitanui (Lucey)
Gray - Martin - Swan - Bontempelli - Mitchell - Tarrant (Clark - Lonie)
19 trades and $225,700 in the bank.
Considering the following:
1. Tarrant > Deledio/Dahlhaus/Franklin
2. Cripps/Miller > Lewis
3. Cripps > Lewis and Miller > Franklin via DPP.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
