So the bye players are locked in at the start of the round. If you have any bye players with a poor average that you don't want to cop, you basically need to use trades before knowing the teams for 12/14 clubs. All this time I thought bye players would remain unlocked throughout the round, so you can use them for loopholes. FMD and sideways.

Yeah the bye players provide a bit of an interesting wrinkle. That's why I brought Kennedy in for the Blues and traded Mitchell out. If they both hold their averages (even if Mitchell goes bonkers today it won't move his average a whole lot anyway) then I'm only losing 10 points next week but gain over 200k to use elsewhere. Plus it allows my team to be a little more unique.

Anybody taking the risk on Blakely?

Its wait and see for me but a spot has opened with Tucker out for the season and Connor is the confirmed in, will play inside mid, could rack up the points

If he can score 80+ then he's straight in for his average next week!!

But not worth it this week.

I'm convinced they're dumping / trading him at the end of the year so he'll be straight out of the side as soon as they have a fit and able body to replace him.

That wont give us much time at all to react!

Whose role is Mark Keane in to play?

My guess is it will be for Scharenberg.
He’s a key defender but with a bit more pace than Shaz (that’s not hard). Good aerial work and loves the physical stuff. Probably in to free up Moore as the intercept defender. Seems to have picked the game up well and showed promise in the pre season

Sounds like he'll play a few in a row then ...

I hope so. Shaz hasn’t really set the world on fire and would prob be up for trade at end of the year so could be his spot to lose and with Howe not available and Langdon still an unknown his only other threat would be Madgen.

If he’s replacing Roughy that might be a different story but I doubt we’d throw him the no1 key def job on debut and reckon we’d use Dunn instead of that was the case

Wow this might be the luckiest I got in trades this year.

Didn't know what to do with my 3rd. But I bit the bullet and grabbed Lloyd by trading Aish.

Now I see Aish is out injured :-O

Dunkley back next round.... how much do we think this affects Bailey Smith? Only just got him this week expecting Dunks to be at least another 2-3 away

Can get Bewley to any forward for my final trade today- do I go sidey +11k or greenwood +55k??

Then next week hopefully DG some combo of Bennell, Pickett, Madgen, King, Simpson et al
