This here is the GAME DAY THREAD for our game against Hawthorn. That means we use the thread to discuss the game on the day of said game on this occasion.

In many ways - and particularly in a literal way - I am typing this BEFORE teams have been announced, so that information may be added at a later date, or perhaps this very post will be edited on that future occasion. It's quite a mystery at the present time.

So - WHO WILL WIN this absolute CLASSIC for the AGES? Will it be the MELBOURNE DEMONS, or the HAWTHORN HAWKS?

Stating the obvious but if Hawthorn brought that level of pressure first half it would be a much different game. We should have punished them more in the first half, but our execution under pressure has been poor this year and look easy to score against when teams bring it.
