Argentina are just going with the paces at the moment and mostly courtesy of Messi, have secured top spot in their group ahead of the Nigerians.

Switzerland have had an interesting campaign so far with two solid wins, but also a flogging at the hands of the French.

I expect Messi to score once again in this game and that should be enough to see Argentina progress through to the quarters. However, don't write off the Swiss here. They may just indeed cause an upset.

Final prediction: Argentina 2-0 Switzerland

Argentina should do this relatively easy too.

I agree. It's interesting to think though that Argentina are ranked 5th while the Swiss are ranked 6th. So close, but yet still a big enough gap between the two sides in terms of skill.

Who knows though. Maybe the Swiss might bring it?

Not a chance IMO.

They were terrible against France. Can't even imagine how many bricks will be shit when they face Messi.

Fair point.

Messi should tear them a new one, but I don't think it will a French-style flogging.

Won't be easy for Argentina. The loss to France was an anomaly. Still, they're Sepp's pet and always get an easy draw with everything they play in so a fisting would be most welcome.

The fact that the Swiss went through after getting so smashed against France is kind of crap. I hope they get smashed here but for some weird reason I see it being close.

Messi will maul these watch making mother ****ers. They make good chocolate though. They'll be eating a shit load of it tomorrow on their plane ride back to Berne.

Switzerland are criminally under-rated. The 5-2 loss to France was an anomaly, and I expect them to put a good fight here. Given Argentina's woeful defense I expect goals from both sides at the very least.

Bad timing with this being on the same time as Kyrgios in the tennis. The back button on the remote is going to cop a hammering tonight.

I quite like the way this Swiss team is set up, I think a lot of their forward play will depend on how well Drmic holds the ball up, plenty of room for Shaqiri and Inler to operate in currently. Rodriguez already looks a cut above in the way he moves.

Should be 1-1 IMO. Di Maria's corner was superb before, was just screaming to be headed.

Switzerland holding there own which is good. I still can't see an upset but atleast they're making it close.
