We kicked straight, but lacked a bit when it mattered. A couple of good performances by some rookies - Caveman in particular. The Magoos cap'n coach was livid at the performance & has scheduled a Sunday morning sandhill session. As always, 3 best excuses get a reprieve from the session. (I'm President - so that leaves but 2!)

Will continue to juggle the side in next weeks praccy match. In fact its almost time I squeezed into the lace-up to see if "the magic" is still there.

Fred - you can put on the selectors hat this week. :confused:

You know more about who needs a run and who needs a rest than me at present. Put me in the resting group for the next one.

Well we need to treat this week as a practise match - lots of variation, get some combinations working...

Just hope it isn't too hot!!!

Not a bad show for a first gamer, the Umpire r*ped me giving away 8 Frees and not getting 1 (Must remember to get some lessons from Matthew Lloyd)

Decided on the proper style of naming the team - you can take Fatty out of SA, but not SA out of Fatty!!

Must say I reckon the HF line looks impressive. Lioness itching to use pace out on the wing. JakethePeg eager to avoid the umpires gaze this week. Phabulous Phil Doyle picks up the role as umps whipping boy this week - we need to find a goal sneak who bags a few. Finally yours truly will don the dressing gown and warm the bench. I hope the hammys are up to it.

Well I coded nearly all the commentaries, and I presume I must have based it on my own experience.

I think we should start developing an aura of arrogance, as though we think we're too good to associate with the other clubs.

How's about an intra-club practice match? We have a reserves team :)

Ok just found that we had JakeThePeg in twice, so he's now back to once, and Noel Mugavin is shanghaiid into the reserve list.

Here is the list, split :
1) into last senior team, remainder of senior listed players, and reserve listed players
2) into 2 teams (1 & 2) chosen alternately throughout the guernsey numbers.

10 from me as well. I only started handballing later in my career though! Looks like I'm nearly finished.
