What would you rather read - a thread with 300+ crap posts or one with 100 crap posts?

To me, the choice is obvious. If all the game threads had about 50 posts with little crap and most in both teams posting, that would be ideal.

+1 to this. .. Quality > Quantity. .. More crap is still just crap that takes longer to sift through

Add another quality > quantity vote here. I'd take one humerous/smart/clever post over 5 garbage posts any day of the week.

We may have the lowest post rate, but more often than not the match thread is an entertaining one.

I found the hardest week to post was the one where the game day thread was opened on a Monday, finding 7 days as opposed to 5 to come up with stuff for the match was a stretch (and opens the door to extra spam)

I've seen the sort of research you do on the club computer (also know as the Yarra council library's computer)!

That's a good question though when does the preseason, and for that matter, next season start?
