The seats aren't done yet, so it's possible there won't be a change.

Some things need doing :

Officially appoint new captain(s) and co.

Select Life Member for the Life members list (Fred and I are to thrash that out with something vertical and piston-driven).

A club B&F count. Sigh. Ok. I'll do it.

Just back from Nepal, nice place but a bit hilly.

Whilst I was there I ran into the Dalai Lama at a strip club in Katmandu and we got to talking about the upcoming season. He was shocked when I told him Mobbs was stepping away from the captaincy and actually upended a table full of drinks and coke his little Sherpa gang was sitting at.

Once he calmed down he asked what our plans were, I told him that it appeared Freakie would be leading the show and I would be his deputy. He raised an eyebrow and pulled out $20 and said "Put this on Freakie for the goalkicking award, that boy needs direction and the captaincy may be just the thing he needs to get his shit together".

When asked about our recruiting by the great man I told him that we had picked up pantskyle and Bender, he stood up, looked me in the eye and said "You do know Bender won the Toots Hibbert Award don't you? He's a ****ing genius!! And pants?? Jesus, you blokes are looking strong, pants is a dead set wordsmith!!".

All this being said I think we proceed with the Freakie / Reardo leadership combo (and book our end of season trip to Nepal asap).
