I can tell you, first hand, that the reason players leave the Wonders is because the culture is so strong that the club will thrive without them, whilst they go on and attempt to improve the league. Wise Guy Sam is a perfect example of this. Me, not so much. I just don't have the influence

No, I left the Gumbies because they were batshit boring as a collective. I'm not claiming to be a star, but if I came across as more ordinary than usual at the Gumbies, it was driven by a lack of motivation from within the club

Oh, and plus they have okeydoke7 at FF, so incompetent at the position these days, he's actually coming 12th in the goalkicking list, which is usually a 10 man race (how does that work? Only okeydoke can tell you), and he's on the same amount of goals as his FP counterpart. The guy's a living vortex of failure, in his 9 seasons in the SFA, 2 of them his team has gone into the finals. And each season the Wonders go on to win the premiership (in S13, and 15). This means, the other 7 seasons, he's managed to leave 5 SFA teams at the end of the season, not entering finals. A league, that tries to fit everyone into finals. How does that work? Only okeydoke can tell you. In fact, he only played 2 games at the East Side Hawks in Season 14 and they still went on to win the spoon that season.

The only team success okeydoke has ever seen, was when I had to carry his black vortex of an ass, during the last SoO carnival as captain. **** me, now that I think about it, he may have been the reason for our losses in the first 3 weeks. Time to head to the decontamination shower.

We haven't missed finals since season 11. Haters will always claim we are cooked but like Geelong we keep on going. I guess some point in time you will be right hence why you need a thread every season about decline. Last time it was showed up as we won the flag. I really enjoy it being wrong.

I read an article somewhere that suggested pantskyle didn't take too kindly to certain situations arising from his short stay. In fact he wasn't too fond of the way the leadership group handled their business. How many captains have you had in the last 3 seasons, and how many of those found their way to other clubs? I guess we may as well include Vice Captains in that question as well, just to spice things up a little further. That's some culture your club's managed to build.

I didn't get it wrong. I did say it was usually a 10 man race. As far as I'm aware of the 18 seasons of the SFA, only 4 rounds of a season has included a total of 12 teams, so no, not very embarrassing at all

Also, don't forget that of the 12 teams in the SFA, 3 of them have changed FF's during the first 4 rounds of the season. In fact, one of the team has changed it 3 times, yet you still somehow manage to be 12th on the goalkicking list. I genuinely don't know how you do it, Okey. In a way, it's quite amazing, like The Half Back tipping 0/14 or whatever.

Btw, Tarkyn_24 has 3 more goals than you after 1 less game at FF. After only 2 rounds at FF, Fred is on the same amount of goals. Wonders FP jjsmitty8 has 3 more goals than you playing at FP, while Hawks FP Karnezis_13 has 1 more. Actually, you're on the same amount of goals as Raven Echo, Mr Gor, GETSOMENUTS, spookism and loopy_cam, and that's too many players for me to even look up where they're playing.

I'm intrigued at how one could leave a abode they hadn't yet frequented. Quite strange you saw a dastardly figure at Wonders headquarters and left before entering. You seem like the faux pas tough kid in the school yard who has a crack at someone more superior, only to hide behind his mates when retaliation is imminent.

We all know why you chose the Wonders as your preferred club.

S17 - Wise Guy Sam, with okeydoke7 later appointed as co-captain
S18 - Wise Guy Sam (again) with Marlowe appointed as co-captain.

No change last season, merely someone else added as support to learn from the best.

That's the way the Royals operate.

I guess we have the glorious distinction of having all our captains still at the club. Far cry from that of the Wonders.
