If I wasn't at the Royals, I would be asking for a mid-season trade to the Warriors. No culture in the SFA makes it impossible for people to leave. Everyone has their departures and arrivals.
Shit, okeydoke7 is the king of changing clubs and I highly doubt he will finish his career at the Royals as it's not how he does things. But do you seriously think every club he has been apart of had a shit culture that made him want to leave?
Given i'm now admin and was the deciding vote on their acceptance, I feel a small amount of responsibility over their success/failure. I feel like I am the perfect type of poster to join the Warriors. A bit of experience, league wide presence and quality (if I say so myself) would be massive for the Warriors. Plus their 3-1 start means a winning final would finally be a chance.
So I could do two things: Continue my self-serving persona by saying that I am chasing finals glory, and actively contribute and be a part of something that I think can benefit the league.
I even discussed it, albeit tongue in cheek, with Frankston Rover.
But being at the Royals makes that idea so much harder. I genuinely love this club. I love playing alongside these blokes. I enjoy the mix of posters. Some light hearted, some funny, some laid back, some tightly wound, some antagonists, some with a mix, some active, some sporadic. I genuinely love it. I really enjoy the SFA when i'm logging in to post alongside these guys.
And that's why I can't see myself being that guy for the Warriors.
Culture.
