But, is this to say, 1 season is enough to gauge one's ability to lead his team to a premiership?
I'm not entirely convinced just yet, so I'll give it another season, and see how we go. It's early days yet.

I'd say yes basing it off your winless start to season 19, all the while watching on as ClarkeM did all the grunt work behind the scenes, after your overseen the Wonders becoming the worst posting unit in the comp the season before.

But if it is, look at it this way.

1 season as TheFreshBanana not as captain - 1 season/1 premiership - 100% strike rate
2 seasons as TheFreshBanana not as captain - 2 seasons/1 premiership - 50% strike rate
3 seasons as TheFreshBanana not as captain - 3 seasons/2 premiership - 66.66% strike rate

5 seasons as Juggalo Balla not as captain - 5 seasons/0 premierships - 0% strike rate

I'll leave it at that. I don't know who else is worth mentioning at the Royals that isn't captain.

Also, I was semi-active last season, didn't even bother voting in your MVP trophy either because of it, and I still made it into the top 20.

The old Wonders fallback option of referring back to past glories of premierships. You have nothing else you see, and your current insecurities as a club are duly evident.

I was indicating your time as captain was the reason for your sides slide, and then you continue your fascination with Juggalo Balla and past team glories whilst ignoring respective individual accomplishments, which was the premise of my post, and quite clearly why I stated you weren't fit to polish Juggs' bootlaces.

Juggs has an Alf Andrews Medal to hang his hat on, and all you have is a 23% strike rate as captain. Is it also a coincidence that the Royals are off to their best start in the clubs history since Juggs arrived? I think not. Is it a coincidence that the Wonders fell from their perch both on and off the field since you became captain? I think so.

As for the MVP, you'd think as a player like yourself who tries his utmost to be well perceived would finish a little higher. An indication of Juggs ability lies with his 31st placing despite being the complete opposite to what you strive to accomplish, perception wise.

I'm sure Easty is pleased to hear that as he peruses the record books and finds out that he led a side responsible for holding the Wonders to the lowest score in league history.

If that's the case then then the Wonders have at least have 5 more wins left for the season, maybe less when you consider fewer games are now factored into the season. Take solace from the fact that you won't finish last and only have the insipid Bears to thank.

I know one thing's for sure, the Royals finished 9th last season and it sure as hell wasn't the Wonders who claimed the premiership.

The Royals have never won 5 or fewer games in a season either. The wheels are well and truly falling of this Wonders roller coaster ride.
