What an amazing season we have had, plenty of ups and plenty of downers, the league celebrated the death of Sam_Malone but had to mourn the Geelong Wolves, have you ever seen a grown man wearing a nappy cry? You have if you ever visited a captains press conference at the Wolves.
I'd like to take a moment before we head into the real meaty part of the thread to talk about some amazing things that happened this season, firstly our feel good moment when Rats legend spookism raised a lot of cash to go on an awesome holiday to Hawaii by pretending to have a beard and shaving it off for charity. His wife is thoroughly enjoying her new breasts as I'm sure spook is as well.
The league welcomed this year a whole stack of new rookies which was a positive thing to see, which creates an exciting EKA chase with many stand out posters. Who will win? Spoiler alert, not Oddhawk.
Whoever said miracle don't happen has obviously never met Okeydoke7, after quitting the league and promising never to return, the downtrodden, snotty nosed, puffy red eyed Okie had a change of heart and decided to return, in the process being awarded a gold medal for backflips. Well done, a genuine character of the league returned in time to ruin his teams chances of playing in the grand final.

Like Paul Walker in a Porche this game promises to be fast paced and hot as hell but hopefully without any sim crashes. But who will win this battle of the juggernauts? Both sides took advantage of having to play an extra game and keep form, the Dragons took out the Warriors whilst the Bears came from behind in the third to pile misery onto the Royals.
The romance in QOOTY is far from dead, the Bears scrambled to fill a team this year and relied on a poster to confirm he was playing who never returned, presumed dead. Dragons just chugged along nicely and found form at the right time. Forcibly removing DemonJim from the captaincy has worked wonders in Vegas, Matera92 proving to be an amazing captain for the club. Hate runs a tight ship and is a win away from cementing himself as a Dragons legend.
For a neutral supporter this game promises to be something special. The villains were knocked out by our heroes. No one wanted another Warriors grand final where if they lost Frankston Rover already would have written up a thread complaining of cheating. The elitist attitude from the Royals that continues to plague the league, no one wanted to see them in the big dance. Good wins.
Players to Watch:
Dragons: Ljp86 - League legend Ljp comes into this game with the thought at the back of his mind that this could be it, if the Dragons win does retirement await him? Although Hate is the captain, Ljp will be looked to for inspiration if the times get tough, the Bears will see him as a real threat. Stop him and they improve the chance at winning.
Bears: brahj - A solid season for the ex captain, however he'll need to be at his best if the Bears want to win the flag, unstoppable during the week on and off field when he is on, the Dragons don't have anyone to stop him so his form will come down to his attitude and his teammates trusting him to deliver.
